Im not sure, but it almost looks like your top bead breaker is mounted upside down, judging from the curve of it fitting on the tire.... or maybe I am just seeing things lol. These are a handy machine to have.
It is a little worn at its mounting pin so it rides on a bit of an angle. I’ll fix that up some day as I still use this old machine all the time. Recently got a nice vintage bubble balancer too so I’ll have to show that off soon
Z49 includes block warmer and rear window defog, later cars include daytime running lights
I did the same thing to get my bucket list car from several parts cars. It's always the same story in Canada... all the cars we had when we were young evaporated in the rust belt. But now I have a Canadian market only 1987 Pontiac Turbo Firefly with some super rare options. C60 AC, K34 cruise control, and tilt steering. I love what you're doing and subscribed today, please do the same for me eh.
please find a remote mich... so hard to hear you
It looks like it had to be a LeMans Sport coupe before it could become a GTO
I don't know 3 sec is 3 seconds.
Awesome video. 😂. Ty
That's a pretty sweet setup you got on that Fergie! I just bought one as well and it's biggest job will be snow plowing here in upstate NY. Mine is same year and model. haha I was wondering what oil you use for your transmission/hydraulics? I've been combing the internet but there's all kinds of different opinions on what to use.
They're fun tractors to play with. Very useful. I just bought a 2nd one that I'll show off eventually. I also did a bunch of research before settling on the basic barrel of Tractor Hydraulic Fluid from TSC. Seems to work just fine. Others may offer more qualified opinions.
@@ontariotube Thanks for the feedback! I think I'll be going with that same type of fluid as well as the tractor will not be worked as hard as it was intended when it was new. Thanks for the little sneak peak tip as well. Looking fowrard to seeing your 2nd tractor! Gotta love these tough old machines!
Pay up, that was not 3 seconds!
Split the difference. $50 is still a good deal for a vintage banana seat bike. The guy was cool to offer the deal and have trust in you to follow through. Entertaining video!
Thats a free bike, it needed the rest of mod
LMFAO….. take my $100
I would have to say that putting the smaller front tire on would make it more difficult to pull a wheelie initially. I'm going to have to go with free bike😊
I remember when we would use coke cola and a esso pad to clean our chrome
What oil do you use to mix in gas and how much per gallon of gas ?
I don't have my cart any more, but when I did, I mixed it 40:1 2-stroke oil (any brand) to regular gas. The manual says 2.5oz non-detergent SAE 40 oil per 1 US Gallon regular gas.
Ha ha I have one of these I didn’t know you had these in the us
What do you know about the loader? Who made it? I need to find one of these. Also, do you have some form of updated hydraulics? I thought you only got 3.5 GPM off the main hydraulic pump. This vid was very informative. Thanks
I can’t read the name on the loader. I remember it being the same name as my scraper blade.. that I also can no longer read. I seem to recall “ee” in the name. The stock tractor hydraulics work just fine. I have a diverter valve on the trans just under the front of the seat. So it’s either the 3-point, or the loader. Not both at the same time.
You can find lots of good stuff. I Got a tractor like that.
Guys can you help me? I bought trimoto 200 without carburator, do you maybe have one Mikuni VM22 21V00 carburator? 😀😀😀😀😀
There is a fall fair that includes a tractor pull and demolition derby up in Kirkton. They go the first weekend of September every year. You should check it out next year. Thanks for recording this for me to watch as I didn't know the date or even that Ilderton had a fall fair.
Great talking to you at the track. I've been watching for your post. Good job.
Enjoyed the video and the commentary! I love seeing old tractors pulling, especially stock ones! First time I see guys wearing helmets though... Always looked cooler with a trucker or cowboy hat! Good job!
Yeh, they announced helmets are mandatory at the driver meeting (my audio of that sucked so I left it out). Was kinda hilarious to see the old boys just shove it on and not bother doing it up 😂
I wish the Canadian people had the same drive for supporting their community like the Americans.
Me too. My wife’s American. We plan on attending a mud bash in northern Michigan next year… just to see an actual crowd letting loose!!!
As a proud Canadian, we do support our communities we just do it differently than our friends in the South. ( more subdued I guess lol)
Kirkton demolition derby had tons of people this year. I think it was the biggest ever. There are places that get more support than this place did. If I learn the date I will come out to see this one for sure.
My first tractor in 2005 was a 1980s model year cub cadet 1110 with a 36inch deck electric PTO. Paid 600 dollars US. Ran it for 10 years and bought a new cub cadet.
How many times is he going to mention broken bolt.
The drive belts are to long you can pinch them together and they will Touch each other they are slipping on the back pulley s
I just looked at some pics I have and they look correct. When you rev the engine, do the primary clutches engage the belt(s) forcing the belt diameter outward at the front and engaging the secondary clutches at the rear? I did drive this machine before breaking the chain, so I know they work. I know it's a dumb question, but you ARE running the engine when checking the drive right? (with both transmissions in neutral)
I got it running and driving but when I turn the steering wheel it doesn’t want to turn. What could be causing that
Try putting one transmission in forward and the other in reverse for a start. There's (3) ways to steer it. Remember, at slow speed you'll likely need to use foot braking. Here's my video on the steering methods ua-cam.com/video/HSby-3rcVYo/v-deo.html
I like it..*Greetings from Northern Norway far above the Artic circle
I have the exact same tractor here in Rockwood Ontario, i love the thing, works excellent but it eats batterys, I'm working , trying to remedy that problem. Great video, thanks.
Maybe it’s mine! I sold it about 3 years ago.
Lift your seat you will see 3 bolts in a row the middle one will be 1" 1/8 loose the 3 nuts that are 1/2" then turn the big nut to adjust the deck same on left hand side close to the front will be another adjustment like under the seat hope this helps someone out con only lift or lower front or back of deck the wheels some what adjust it side to side just did mine last night cuts as level as you will get
Brake lock
Greetings from Northeastern Alberta just finished getting my rx 73 running hasn't ran since 07 runs an cuts awesome they made rx 63 to rx 95 in this series
If you want to stop the rust, have it blasted, paint it with Zinc Clad, a Sherwin Williams product, then top coat it with a compatible product from Sherwin Williams. You will love it more.
Good tip!... but I stopped it by selling it (LOL). Just not enough snow around London any more.
Thanks for posting your video!!
Yupp I get out on the country roads on the 01 heritage so I don't have to stop ,great scenery ,I'm comfortable about 50 mph . Wind in my face ,clears my mind ,relaxes me . And she go's back in the garage . 94,000 on the clock . Purrs . She's had her improvements but basically stock . Now she's semi retired . Runner ! Let's be careful out there my brothers
Thanks for making this series, I’m trying to restore a 94. I heard of a guy returning a Camaro or Firebird because he got beat at a stoplight back in 95.
Learned a lot about this little tractor, have just bought one in immaculate condition. The guy was keeping it as a "collectors piece". Getting the finish mower with it. Wondering how to add a small loader to it mainly for snow removal, especially the snow plow pile at the end of the driveway. Any advice?
I was going to figure out a loader for mine too, but came across my Ferguson 35 when searching “loader” on marketplace. I really didn’t have a use for the Kubota after that so I sold it. Good luck to you!
The neck crinkanator....hard pass on that one
Yep. Sold it ;)
Just picked one of these up as my first ever riding mower. Super helpful video. Thanks!
You're Welcome
Hey bro i just picked up a b5100e and watched your video from a couple years ago, don't feel too bad i had a fall like that too.I didn't see a name for your channel so i can follow to learn more about the tractor and your adventures 😂 👍
OntarioTube I have a Garden Tractor playlist
@@ontariotube , thanks bro
The aluminum plate with all the bolts in it and flat screws is the one that’s leaking oil. How do you stop it from leaking
It’s not the o-rings that’s leaking is the aluminum plate that the axle goes through
If you mean the hubs, I would think maybe they need gaskets or sealant where they mount to the tub. If the leak is right at the axle, then the o-rings. I'm not really sure where else they can leak. Hmm.
I found out that every single plate behind all eight tires are leaking out oil on the machine I got from you what do they use to seal that up with so that it doesn’t leak out oil on it again
The manual covers this on pages 64 and 65. Simple rubber o-rings. Remove the wheel and retaining ring. Easy and inexpensive repair.
Fair play for pushing on when it went so wrong,.
one of the finest porches i've ever seen! at $6k YOU ripped that guy off.
U got screwed dude! Slap a John deer seat on a mtd lawn tractor, and you'd think it's a jd!
Looks like someone tried to make a fake Patio series tractor. But what the hell do I know....
I think it was just a young lad in the sellers neighborhood that liked the color combo. I kinda' like it too ;)
I think you got ripped off bro.
I'm trusting you know I was kidding... surely I can't be that good of an actor, lol.
@@ontariotube the cheesy paint job and ripped seat gave it away and the part when you said he took the money real quick when you jewed him down from eight grand to six grand
Lol
Canadians are just like Americans 20 years ago.
