A 1963 DuPont Show of the Week teleplay starring Tuesday Weld and Alfred Drake, directed by Franklin J. Schaffner. "Cashmere Sweaters" - Lord Love a Duck

Sexy, surreal, disturbing 'Cashmere Sweater' scene from the dark comedy 'Lord Love A Duck'. Featuring Tuesday Weld and Max Showalter
the conclusion is a scandalous departure from the book, a bit like the disnification of certain fairy tales. a hopelessly dark book made into a hopefully dark movie...
I had seen Rain maker starring Burt Lancaster and Katherine Hepburn.
hello , i love steinbeck , he never disappoints...........just love his body of work . great actors , great movie . thank you , for sharing🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰...........
Beautiful story. I wish Steinbeck was alive now to see what a garbage can the US has become. It will not recover.
He would seriously disagree with you. Read "Travels with Charley".
Thank you for posting this ... yes the cast is 👌
@@RawOlympia Thank you!
Donald Sutherland was such a great actor So nuanced A wonderful crafts person
*rip❤*
You don't get rich or stay rich by being honourable. Enjoyed the film, wish the images were sharper, not so blurry.
I believe she was underestimated as an actress!
Nature can be wonderful if we treated fair. Well performed play. The author of this play deserves credits, that’s some fancy writing .Thank you for your efforts.
Enjoyed film. Love Donald Sutherland. Will read book.
This is VHS quality, which isn’t any quality.
Oh sorry, I'll go make a 4k transfer from the original film negative, be back in a sec
@@BeautifulBombs😂
The book was a masterpiece - read it many times when i was younger. Not easy to interpret in a movie but fairly well done. Picture quality was poor.
Donald Sutherland has been and will remain one of my very favorites.
Thank you for sharing!❤👍🏿👍🏿🙏🏿
His kids are needy brats! They both are old enough to work! Paper route, babysitting! I worked in my small town when l was ll years old! Where there's a will there is a way! The 80s brought the entitled kids into focus, whether their parents had means or not they were a pretty spoiled bunch......the rest of us are still undoing the trend they started! Allowance! What the heck is that! Some kids even got 2.00 for each A on their report cards! Irresponsible parents setting them up😂
Absolutely kooky..funny..theatrical..wow great clip..fun movie🙃🙂
Dirty cops ,her piss poor lawyer and all her lies is why she was sentenced
How do you carry a dead child under left arm ,her lawyer is worthless
I don't want to have anything to do with fortune telling; even if it's in a movie!
Dirty cop needs in jail
In hi schl so many ppl said Tuesday and I lookd alike. We did hav same eyes, nose and mouth. Circumstantial evidence. She wasn't grieving aftr their deaths. She went back to work, put lots of make up on, went to bars, dressed sexy, met with men. A depressed mother wouldn't b doing that. Most would b home, nevr leaving, not b able to eat, a crying zombie and in shock. Her actions convicted her. A boyfriend was coersed by detective to lie. He was jilted and agreed. Guess no one will never know the truth. Tuesday did a gr8 job of acting n this movie. Was well done by all. I love true stories the best....because they're part of history. 👍
Since when do they question a women in bedroom instead of at station
I was disappointed with the father for not buying the boy a scooter with some of the $10,000 cheque
Thank yall
Tuesday was always hotter than Marilyn
I never read the book but I really like this movie. Would have enjoyed it more if not for the crap audio.
I adored Tuesday's charming guest appearances on The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. She was simply adorable!
This Network used to show some great movies.
Tuesday weld turned down some great roles she was offered.
Tuesday is a weird strange person. not all there.
Tuesday is so honest just pure truthful no b.s. like they spew today
I never even heard of Tuesday Weld til today, on a Tuesday.. how ironic
I mostly remember her from the movie "Looking for Mr. Goodbar." This must've been several years before that.
RIP Donald
Big Tuesday fan. Thanks for this lost gem.
She's being questioned without an attorney present That's against the law
Those chauvinistic cops know that too You can bet your last dollar
Alice Crimmins is 85 and still living in Florida under the name Alice Grace
Gotta love police corruption. Tisk. Tisk.
Steinbeck was a fricking genius
Yes he was
I'm so happy these two gorgeous and immensely talented people are still living among us.
Wonderful VERY natural interviews...Cavett' s great anyway but this was GRRRREEEEAAT.[ as Tony the Tiger would say]...-they' re all so totally different yet they MELDED so well...{I agree about 'Pretty Poison'..underrated film..}
He seems so nervous and won't let Dinah speak.
No good after first child she said she did not want another and Larry would not let her insert her diaphragm
What has her sex life have to do with her being a child killer if she did not want those girls anymore she could have let their father have custody
Charming, pretty girl.
Wow, she answered every question honestly and intelligently. Nothing held back, no artifice.
Amazing! Time capsule. 🤓
Always enjoy DC, a natural relaxed charming interviewer...
I enjoyed having an opportunity to see Dinah Shore but there was not enough conversing. Dick Cavett is one of the better interviewers. 💕
AT LAST I FOUND A HARD HEADED WOMAN......MARRY ME TUESDAY
Thank you so very much for this film! I have been looking for this for years! I saw it in 1983 and always searching for it.
