Hello my Friend! Can you please tell me what part of Bulgaria you live? I'm seriously thinking of moving there as the UK is becoming unbearable! Many Thanks 🧡
Nick, If you go to Milan, you might find where they strung up Mussolini, ok, cheers.
Nick, if you miss the binman you can chase after him down the street.
Most good van lifers clear up others litter to try and make a good impression.
Look East have you an email address please?
The Garbage Bin Saga of Liverpool made me laugh. Or "How can nothing become something?" Or "The Importance of Being/tipping a Garbage Man". 😂
if there's a new UK central banking digital currency it will be called Crap Coin
coin squirt
UK exodus.. nowhere to go, the system is making sure you stay where you are..
Great as usual ,thanks
U.K. talk about being crypto ‘friendly’ but that couldn’t be further from the truth. U.K. citizens can’t even buy the Bitcoin ETFs in their ISA
What’s your prediction for BTC top this year? A lot of people talking about 200k plus, but I’m thinking more like 135-150k. I think the people in the know need good exit liquidity to get back into fiat later in 2025. I’m definitely a believer long term.
200k is only a x2 from here, last year was x2 and a bit from 43k, I would say 190 is easily achievable, probably 30% is purely fiat losing value
@ Cheers nick, It’s been performing excellently against the pound recently, which in turn is losing ground against a stronger dollar. Interesting times for merry old England:
the air pollution is desperate in Bosnia, if you value your health, don't bother
Also i agree with you on on the Banks they can do a thing called a Bail In which as you will know means if the Bank is going to go like Northern Rock did then they can steal your money and use it to prop up the bank , the FSCS will have to compensate you but that could take up to 1 year so yeah , I've been telling people take savings out and buy Gold or Silver as then you have physical wealth not Fiat currency.
I cans ee Trumps son Barron Trump becoming US President in around 20 years time as hes been well bought up by Melania and Donald , Good mannered and privately educated , So there is hope for the USA yet.
U.K. armed forces are a shambles and have been dramatically decreased in last 25 years. They could barely mount a defence of the U.K., let alone an offensive in Europe! These politicians have lost their minds!
yea nick uk hate crypto holders, i,ve been de-banked twice. 1 x business account and 1x personal account...wtf. all i can use now is revolt bank
also was in and out of the trump coin. did a x100... wow
@ Nice I did well on Raydium
Bulgaria is lol at the uk.
Im a uk vetran from 1st gulf war and we had come from the jungle in beleize and sent out to the gulf we never had dessert gear we were told to take our jungle gear with us.
Look up on Google southfront that's the real news.
They reckon van life is going to shoot through the roof in the uk.
Have you got Bulgaria residency? Just curious; too isolated out that way for me (I wouldn’t be able to stick it).. not being married and suchlike, ; I’ll probably eventually go back to Liverpool, for a while anyway, But my priorities are the isolation of being a nomad, (Sarajevo at the moment)
IMO most of the £3 billion will end up in the pockets of someone like Blackrock for reconstruction costs. The 100% property tax could be used as a carrot to make rejoining the EU more palatable to Brits as more and more retiree boomers want to emigrate to EU countries. Older people were the majority of those who voted for Brexit. What's to stop sellers of Spanish property understating the value of property they sell to Brits? In any case it's quite possible that EU member countries will leave the EU in future years.
yes I think now if one leaves everyone leaves and my money is on Austria
@@nickob55 My money is on Germany.
I was wondering exactly what they mean by 100% tax .... 100% more? eg if previously stamp duty was 5% then 100% = 10%? which tax is it? I don't think they are going to say that if your house cost 20k then you have to pay 20k tax? And is it an ongoing thing? so exactly WHICH tax are they talking about?
as far as I understand a 20 k house = 20k tax but maybe wrong
@@nickob55 Yes, that's it. If the law passes
I was hoping you were going to speak about this. Yes, it does look like an EU initiative.
Yeah, but you go to look at the type of people that live in a certain country. And whether they are a welcoming nation. North Macedonians are very hospitable, just like Bulgarians, but seem to me more pig-headed and stubborn than the Bulgarians.
thats true they have little big man syndrome like the Baltic states
My advice never stay in a cheap UK hotel , I stayed at a Travelodge for a few days last year when we had a bad storm and i was forced to take shelter , Stayed there and some tosser tried to break in my room at 4am , I chased him away but he was some big migrant bloke from an Arab country , So yeah Hotels are not safe in the UK anymore , the Air B and B idea is much better anyway i would not stay in a UK hotel again unless its like 4 or 5 star at least lol
Such valuable info, thank you so much, and i totally agree that business partnerships should be avoided as it can sink your ship very quickly, big time.. Over the years, I've run a few businesses and learned from them, and it's all about mindset.. I firstly owned a car body repair shop, then as conglomerates took over and regulations made things much more difficult here, I went to classic car restoration.. then did a complete change into the fruit and veg trade for over 20 years, and then the fish trade, but that's all changed here now.. so, as much as skills go, I've also got to be realistic about my age and health now as I'm not someone in their 20s anymore, crawling around cold floors under cars 😂 so being able to adapt is definitely key.. yep, I've had those comments over the years about being someone always on the make, but working for yourself makes us like that... and a compliment too 😊
whats wrong with expat communities? I have thought about south of spain
some people like them, just not for me
Have you banned buddha of blackpool?
No, maybe he went to Cambodia to become a buddhist monk
I'm like you. Most things I do I'll think of how I can make money or save money. I find a combination of entrepreneurship and frugality very empowering, with the added benefit that you're not spending your whole life at work getting nowhere financially whilst spending most of your time doing something you'd rather not be doing.
I like it, either make money or save money
Nick, I think a lot of the BG's are communists or communist sympathisers. I'm not sure if that's good. God bless.
Try mixing in some pasta
Serious though I've heard that growing Truffles over there is viable if You can invest in the right land and woodland, but it's a few years before theres any return
there are oak forests in the south east stranja and also Ivaylovgrad area and you can buy truffle trained dogs but obviously a lot of information is not broadcasted openly but there is a truffle industry
Open an English Barbers
Move to Spain or Porugal join the local EX Pat Facebog = Costa Del Brookside
Dogs can eat liver but we can't eat dogs liver.. it's poisonous to us as it's full of toxins..😊
Thanks for info again,brilliant
thank you I do my best
Enjoying your videos..thank you.
Ex Pat communities are strange places. Seem to be full of people running from problems elsewhere. But at the same time, unwilling to interact with the locals. Similar story in the U.K. to be honest.
most of these are immigrants not expats. There are some very strange ones here running and hiding from all sorts of things.
Cold and grey in northern England today. No stabbings reported today yet on Look North.
Be cheaper if you had a back boiler fire like back in the UK. P.S not disin the fire.
All set to visit Bulgaria in ,May 2 weeks of looking around getting a feel for it ... then make our minds up .. the thought of living in the UK forever is depressing everyone i know says its had it and wants out ... Assessing where you are in life is a very wise move .. we have done that and yes we can make it happen and staged gradual move can be done .. ..
good luck hope it works out
@@nickob55 Thanks nick .. keep making videos .. we are soaking up all the nuggets of information that you and others put out
@@williamnaylor8782 thanks nice to know it helps people
I really would like to go to tblissi and Batumi i know as a brit you can stay for up to a year and then you just need to a visa run to Armenia and can then stay another year.
Hi, I am Bulgarian and can give you free advice if you want for my country. I live here 67 years so have some experiance. I understand English, but my writing is with many mistakes. :)
And Nick, I can help you with the language if you intend to live here also for free :)
@ I have been here over 20 years and have residency
@ Italy?
@@nickob55 Do you want to leave BG for It?
Now Brits can't move freely to EU counties it might be a good idea to spend at least one 90 day period (or close to) in BG before committing your self to the cost and time (and potential aggravation) of getting residency. Personally I wouldn't contemplate buying a property unless I was certain I could live in it legally long term. People who own holiday properties spend a lot of time working on them, or they have to pay other people to work for them. Unless you get an apartment, properties need maintaining, both buildings and land. Most of the cheaper properties advertised in BG seem to have large amounts of land, and this will become quickly overgrown without regular maintaining. We don't know in the future how easy it will be to get cheap flights, or even travel at all. Look at the restrictions which were imposed during covid. I'd rather just live in one place that I'm happy with, and rent when I travel or holiday.
superb breakdown
Comonsense as always, thanks,
Brilliant video as always and such valuable info... Life really can change on a dime, so preparedness is paramount.. I was in a toxic marriage for years, yet at the time, financially comfortable.. my ex destroyed everything I had ever worked for, and I'm starting to rebuild my life... But on the positive side is that I don't have that millstone around my neck now.. I'm currently caring for my elderly parents, which I've no problem with and do that as an honour because at the end of the day, they did more than their bit for me.. but going to use this time to prepare and get my goals in place, etc. Then see where the road goes 😊
It’s the 1970s brain drain all over again, but this time, 10 times worse, with a fractured divided society. Sad times for merry old England.
Great common sense video.
Hello mate ..
