I still hear it from time to time, I love how the voice starts slow, almost pained, and it starts to gain power and desesperation after "The innocent, the innocent Mandus!" almost like a plead, an anger plead for you to save them

I really liked AMFP, even when it first dropped. But I also loved Dear Esther, so I guess that scans. Feels like it was a game made for fans of the sort of games TCR makes, rather than fans of the original Amnesia. I suppose the issue is less the game in a vacuum and more the game as a sequel with specific expectations.

I Really like the idea of Lambert being the monster, You could play the game thinking that the beast is only some paranormal creature when in really is just your Brother in arms, Another human being. It ties really well as this Antiwar message, how you could desensitize your enemy yet at the end of the day, it's just another guy like you and me. Monster Lambert just grabbing his son's Toy and silently saying Henry makes me so sad

I watched basically every episode of goosebumps when I was a kid. It was one of my favorite shows. I remember absolutely hating this episode because of how weird and not scary it was, lol. This was an incredible video! I got more entertainment from this than I did watching the original episode. The game looks even weirder, but there's definitely a fun charm to it.

Have you ever heard of the American Chillers series? It's pretty close to Goosebumps but not as popular for some reason. Also the Weenies series like The Curse of the Campfire Weenies. Now THAT book was a bunch of legitimately scary short stories that haunted me as a kid.

My biggest takeaway for this video is that the stories weren't actually that good. I thought these were like masterpieces as a kid because of those awesome covers. I only ever read the shrunken head one and it was just alright.

My sibling and I used to play on V-tech consoles and I recall clicking on a fridge and it saying "Brrr! It's cold in here!" in a very particular cadence. Everything else had the proper noises they make so it stood out. Aside from that, I vaguely remember a PC game set in Egypt with a desert, riverboat and market stall. Perhaps there was some tie to Scooby Doo, but I could be getting it mixed up with one of the other games I watched my family play. Then of course there were the educational games we'd be assigned at school, mostly for maths. Late 90s - early/mid 2000s media is so interesting for how close and yet far it is if you were born at the turn of the millenium and after. But for everyone else, it's like yesterday and they feel old when it gets mentioned historically. (Nevermind trying to find information online about life at the time and being inundated with nostalgia bait.)

I have never played this game, but it gave me nostalgia for this era of games where weird shit just happens but you’re a kid and you don’t care it’s just fun

Certified Goosebumps hater here, never read the books as a kid because I was too scared. So not a hater just an idiot and a coward for not appreciating these books while I still had the imagination and carefree wonder of a child, this really made me wish I read them as a kid!

This animation makes me thinks of “ Bones” the game that was old as hell on computer on a game company called “WildTengant” this was back then in 2005 and that same animation looks like it. The memories though never forget getting chanced by a swarm of locust’s, evil little bastards I swear.😂
