The quality leaves a bit to be desired, but smart phones were a bit rudimentary 40 years ago.

Not the best video/audio footage, but glad I shot it anyway. The lens barrel was damaged so I couldn't zoom in our out. Hence the odd focal length.
Medium Cool clip (with original Wildman Fischer song).

This song was later pulled from the film and replaced with something inferior. (Philistines. )

I used to go to Bagel Kitchen a lot in the early 90’s. They had some of the best Bagels in town.
I just seen Stallworth Auto Sales on California Street
Downtown has not changed much.
Years ago in the 60's my cousin donated his 3 ft. Camon alligator to the Stockton zoo.
Ahhh man...those were the days...could cruise down Market Street, look for the lone figure standing in a darkend doorway, a simple nod between him and I...chiva at your fingertips....😊😊😊
05:17 RFK Shaking Charles Weber III (The Flippy Glasses) (GrandSon of C.M. Weber; founder of Stockton, CA)
I was there on my step-dad shoulders.
Stockton did a exceptional job preserving those downtown buildings. Only difference now 40+ / 50 years later, those sidewalks are loaded with filth and youll be lucky to cross downtown without being harrassed by mentally ill homeless.
Ahhh…the good old days. Best 20 years of my life spent with Tower.
Where did you find this long time footage at? And do you have any more?
Larry playing a Gibson J160 E. Cool nerd info.
82 or 83 Very cool footage, do you have any more?
Iwas in 7th grade when this came out. Im alifetime fan😅
My home town when I was 2!! This is awesome!
Wow what a king of men. RIP sir. Only white man that stuck up for Mexicans in Stockton. Respect!
Good ol days when white people did nails. 😂
We need this man in France NOW...
So sad to see these animals locked up in cages. Now they just need to close to the zoo to let the birds be free and in the wild. How would you like to be locked up in the cage. And the poor polor bears sitting in 100 degree weather.
Any recordings of this band?
Heaven for me is definitely here!
The greatest tragedy besides the death of Bobby was the death of hopes and dreams for this great country. I doubt we will see the likes of him for generations to come.
I moved to Stockton 1981 to the early 90s lived on tuxedo backyard faced the canal off of country club right down the street from the graduate. I liked it back then I moved up from Southern California but in the 90s I got the hell out of there.
A small example that multiplies into all this is that attitude the adult reporter had towards those kids who were just happy to be there and he tells them to get the hell outta there. With a vast number of adults treating kids like this their going to to do the same when they grow up.we all must take responsibility to how we treat others.
In the bigger picture I think if both Kennedy’s had continued to serve the power of the government would have increased tremendously. Then they would have both retired or been taken out and the dark side would have went all out and by now there would be no hope.
fun fact, this is only one of two times that Its Up To Me And You was played live 5:00
Interesting. Thanks for the comment.
All of those copies of All Things Must Pass......sheesh
What was downtown Stockton movie theater before? It was the movie theater??
Lbj had em killed , that's why we won't never have those jfk files
I was 12 years old when my mama took me to see bobby.
:12 that free parking sign was still up during the 90s. It is a trip to see all these business open and thriving, today they are just abandoned ruins. It is kind of sad.
Like damm
😊Love and miss you Bobby!
Sea of Traquility brought me here
Yep, me too it was the player albums ranked list video.
It looks more like 1978. The cars are too old looking.
These commercials, they were all so hilarious and tacky... even as a little kid, I wanted to grow up real fast so I could buy... whatever the Hell they were selling...
I looked forward to getting older so I could shop here. Damn it, Paul MADE it look like so much fun, didn't he... ? And now he and the Diamond Center are BOTH gone...
How the hell he passed away
WTF how do they have a polar bear😭😭😭
Yes - definitely the Leaving Trains. :)
Victims of capitalist imperialism
hey im a young punk from south sac, thanks for putting this stuff on youtube, its cool to have a piece of local history around!
My family was pretty well known back then. Not all good reasons. This footage shows me what it used to look like when they were still kickin. So cool how we can look back on history like this.
I remember when the downtown historical hotel was the Welfare department with big lines outside back in 89 trough most of mid 90 era then gradually closed down.
Oh Paul from the diamond center....
No homeless back them, I remember all this, I was 8
Isn't that Eric Wright of the Forty Niners with his wife in the last skits?
I'd forgotten about "Paul from the diamond center" Definitely the good ol days here... Ah... Camelot
