I have a 1999 Subaru forester and I replaced the valve cover gaskets and I am still getting oil dripping off the brace/plate that goes across the brake lines/fuel line behind the oil pan. It has 4 bolts on it. Do you know what could be leaking in that area. The oil pan is dry.

Nice upgrade from factory radio, but did you know you can retain the factory usb plug-in (if you have one) without any adapter... Yup, right under the centre console tray, just unplug the factory usb cable under the centre cupholder area and plug in the usb cable from the radio.

What I'm beginning to notice about a lot of these Android head unit reviews, is that a good majority of the reviewers have no experience using an Android device. From my limited experience with them it seems that they are basically purposely built Android tablets that are optimized and attached to an audio video unit. Not saying that's the case here , many other reviews I have seen that seems the case.

Just installed the Q80PRO into a 2011 GMC Yukon with the Bose Speaker option. All went well until I tried to connect the C connector to the head unit. When I did that, all I got was something that sounded like a ground in all speakers. When I unhook the C connector. The unit works beautifully, but only to the Front Speakers. All the other functions appear to work. Has anyone seen this before?

Need more brightness

Installed my R80 yesterday and it was so simple. The equalizer is incredible. If you dont know how to get the buttons on front to light up (volume, power, home) go to settings>car>factory settings. The code it asks for is in the manual that came with the stereo. Then on the R80 you tap the "other" tab at top of the screen then scroll down to find the option to change the front L.E.D. I cant remember exactly which option that is but youll know when you see it and you change it to "power". Then apply changes and let it reboot. This way the buttons light up when the unit powers on.

Was your backup camera origin in the rear view mirror…..and were you able to move it to the radio

I have an issue with the same radio where the audio cuts out at volume 28 and it will not play any sound unless I shut the truck off and let it sit for 5 mins and then it’ll play fine.

or just buy aftermarket rearview camera it will be cheaper anyway than trying to purchase a harness and have both.

Disconnect the ext mic from the unit if you are not mounting it near you. There is a mic on the unit and it's decent quality

I'd recommend wrapping the speaker with electrical tape a few times to drown the sound down so its not screaming loud.

I've had this unit since November 2021. Android auto & Apple carplay work great (wireless). You can also move the icons around to your liking, just hold and drag. Imo the R80 is one of the better models that Eonon puts out.

You can get a 4G USB modem and plug it in. I use one in mine and it works great.
