I can say I’m making an album inspired by war sounds, but if it’s not musical, very few will listen and it will get buried to time. Just because it’s tarkov inspired doesn’t mean they have to be anti-fun. But if they choose that, that will be their downfall just like tarkov

Fun is what keeps 90% of players playing any game! GOT last wipe was centered around having fun in my opinion, up till the latter half and end, they started pushing this agenda of playing to get good not have fun!

I’ve seen collector spawn on matak, but I’ve never seen kyrtek spawn. Kyrtek was always a boss you’d expect to find and I’ve never seen him, but he requires a full lobby to spawn which you can’t get in PVE unless they adjusted it or fixed it!

Contractors exfilzone is already digging that grave for them, mechanically it's a vastly superior experience.

Yeah I’ve never understood that mentality! Even in big games like Apex, Rainbow6, FN, Warzone, it’s perfectly acceptable to just play casually to have fun, but in a smaller VR game, what right does anyone have to say you should be spending all your free time getting too good to have fun in this basically indie game that grew up slightly. This modern gaming climate is very predatory on their consumers, putting the idea that gaming is as important as eating or sleeping. Gaming has always been an entertainment service to help you have fun in the margins of responsibility. GOT acts like it’s a militia training service, but if they were that, you’d get better training doing airsoft or tactical drills, and yet asking GOT to let you have fun is too tall a task! GOT has to wake up or fail. Based on their pride, failure might be their choice!

Exfilzone already feels like a big studio game, which it is! It’s challenging, and has a bit of a learning curve, but it’s clearly a well made game. I just wish they (GOT) could try to match their audiences wants and needs so they can survive and exist along side each other!

It’s definitely an odd time to enter at but it’s still a fun game! I think if they just guarantee a wipeless PVE experience, it would be a great because you could play PVP in rotation but have PVE to grind at your own pace!

I tested it in PVE right there, unless they made the AI even worse since the wipe. That said, the AI could just be wildly inconsistent!

That’s what I thought they meant when they said they were adding PVE only maps! Main problem is just they went very goofy with their choice on what they decided.

Yeah I like that, like PVE only without player damage on! It would need to be a specific queue for that but would be a good way to squad up!

keep your distance and take cover

Don’t hesitate running to cover or away once you’re spotted. The PVE AI gets more and more accurate the longer they look at you, so if you realize you’re spotted just get to cover and head out! If you have to engage, don’t peak the same spot, rotate frequently!

It won’t, tabor is a lot more simple and yes exfil zone is a lot better and a lot quicker than tabor and better with updates but it is really realistic, and if you want simple easy and friendly for new players play tabor, but I do think tabor needs to at a lot more items attachments and accessories as in like putting goggles on your helmets, radios on chest rigs, mics in helmets, and all kinds of stuff

I think tabor will stay living as long as they start adapting. We know combat waffle is a small dev studio, so they can’t compete with the development pace of Exfilzone. That said, if they start listening to their community a bit more and realizing that they have enough people playing to actually care if their players do or don’t like something, tabor will survive. Separately, I am really excited to play exfilzone, as I’ve still not tried it yet, but I’m going to very soon! If anything I hope it lights the fire under CWs butt to start improving their game!

I think they do! Scav bodies last a minute or two. Player bodies last until the player leaves the post match report screen.

Yeah I agree! I also can’t help but wonder who they believed their target audience for PVE was for being used as “training”. Newbs are gonna hate it and suffer, It doesn’t prepare those who play much for real games cause players don’t play like Aimbot scavs, And streamers likely want to focus on the main game to get content, unless they’re having fun and messing around which they can’t do in PVE because a stray scav could ruin a whole clip. They made a DLC and mode with no one in mind

I know the devs want us to grind 40 hours on two separate progressions of the same game to level traders up. Which to me is pushing rocks up hill when I know it’s gonna wipe again. I can say something completely different about the mission system rework too. But, without a doubt the minimum to be done needs to be an easy or hard mode like you said. The devs called PVE glorified training raids with friends, but made it harder than the real game. I think it’s a case of low audience awareness on their part. Also yeah respawning NPCs also doesn’t really make it exciting or fun, just tedious.

I play alot of PVP games just for there pve modes I love playing games with friends but PVP sometimes brings in a lot of toxic behaviors that I'm tired of dealing with. But I still find myself playing PVP with friends . And on another case I feel like making some fences walls will do alot of good on so many occasions I have died due to Fenix shooting at me from the grate stairs on missle and kill me within 2 seconds. allso playing the mode I found the ai after they get a alert of you no matter what you do the next time they stop you when they walk to the area your at they instantly shoot back so you have to pick em off before they even get a chance to see you or you'll end up getting hit so as you said in the vid if you don't have nrs on you in raid you die

Yessss! No matter what locating where the shots come from seems near impossible other than general direction, which makes it all the more frustrating!

@@romaash on island I spawned in that position, basically unable to avoid getting spotted from above or from the road. I’ll admit, I don’t know mall scav spawns, and I’m not a pro by any means, but I play for fun. I think modes and balance for fun only players needs more credit, as games that require too much grinding or sweaty gameplay lose those with school, jobs, or families to take care of.

@@cesarbrown2074 I like the idea of the scavs for PvP being stronger, that way the map as a whole is more dangerous! However I don’t think anyone wanted a sweaty PVE mode. I think PVE was a response to players wanting to focus on fun and looting in VR while getting a relaxed tabor experience. I’m not saying it should be doofy easy, but it should also be playable. The PVE scav AI is notably different than PVP, which is why I made the comparison.

@vin yld Dude I fully agree I loaf into raid see a dude and then he sees me and turns into a military soldier his aim is more accurate then a dang navy seal dudes eyesight is better than an eagle and more importantly two makorov shots from then is equivalent to a plan crash

Yeah, the wide open maps are even worse with the new AI. Even mall is quite crazy when you spawn near the scavs!

Yeah, I’m never gonna be one to kiss developer butt on a crappy job, and I’ve always sided with fun over ridiculous challenges or broken mechanics being labeled as “skill gap”. I’ve always seen games as entertainment and fun, and when it gets broken or annoying, it is neither. I was really hoping PVE would be tabor casual mode and be the way friends have fun and mess around, and I won’t stop pointing that out until they fix it!

Yeah, I think the devs are getting hella complaints about it. Hopefully they fix it soon!

I use the Quest 3 currently! It’s definitely a good jump up from quest 2!

@@vin-yl yeah I just got into VR I used to have the old ps4 vr but that setup suckeeddddd on the quest 3 now learning tabor hard to find chill groups to run raids with on this game the community discord is all toxic

I feel that! It’s definitely hard to find cool groups! I recommend trying naked runs on island, chodov and silo, and trying to fist bump with other players to build your friend catalogue! Also there’s a VIN YLD discord, which is a small growing community. I do community days on the 3rd Saturday of each month, but I’m sure you could also make a good amount of friends to do raids with!

I keep getting smoked in tabor and I suuuuuuck at it. Contractors feels like it was made for the quest 2 and is a lot easier to get down
