LAOWA Cine Probe Lens: What you should know before you buy!
Hi, Thank you for this review, what time of year did you go to Scottland, by the way you are dressed? We are going in April and wondering about the weather. I liked the information you shared, could you give information on cost of tours, the walk tour was free but how much would tip be? We will be staying 5 days in Endiburgh and do not want to rent a car- so we will be using the train to visit Glascow, St Andrews and Aberdeen, any thoughts on this?
Hey thanks for your comment! We were there in early November, not sure about the weather in April but I would be prepared for anything with layers 😅 (we packed pretty similarly to this video ua-cam.com/video/lpFQqGU89ZE/v-deo.htmlsi=cRb273STnFHP-R2h but with maybe less thermals). For the tour its more of a pay at the end what you can, they generally asked for £20-30 per person. The train should work out well. We had originally thought about doing it that way, the only downside is that it’s somewhat slower (we were very time limited) and it doesn’t go to some of the smaller towns we wanted to see. Hopefully this helps!
@@benandkayla Thank you!
Absolutely 👍

Why do they put the fish on top of the chips thus making the chips less accessable? I always move the fish to the side. But surely that is the job of the chef? Likewise, put everything on the plate. Why do I have to move the beans and chips from a basket to eat them?
Im sure there is a reason 😅 but it tasted great!
Thank you so much! It was super informative :)
Glad to help! 😊
@Ben & Kayla in terms of data storage for content creation not for commercial purpose so my plan was vlogging and also photography as well so photos will be more, thou I have looked on my separate SSD over the years close to 2TB of photos that hasn't been edited yet I was thinking along the lines of a Das storage because of internet which I'm limited to.
DAS are fine the downside with them is that its only accessible on the computer it’s connected to. If you are a solo creator with a single device thats okay 👌 However if you have multiple devices or people you will want to go with a NAS. Remember your access speed on your NAS will be as fast as your “local network” when you are accessing it at home, your internet speed only matters when you are accessing it outside of your home (if you setup/allow external access). Wired ethernet is always better in this situation and you will probably want 2.5GbE or higher for 4k footage. Hopefully that helps!
@@benandkayla Thanks for this I am a Solo Creator I studied BA in Performance and screen arts at Un in the future I will get a Nas storage, I'm planning to travel and do blogging.
Heading back to Japan in Feb and one of our stops is going to be Hakone so been watching videos. Heading there since I grew up watching Evangelion and that's where it takes place in the anime. The chirping noises you're hearing in the woods are Cicadas. We're in MD and a few years back we got the chance to hear the Brood X cicadas that only come out every 17 years. Pretty wild. Onsens are just amazing. We have them booked pretty much our whole two weeks this time around. They're great for healing the body after a long day of exploring. Awesome video y'all. Enjoying the videos. Getting us hyped up for our trip coming up. ✌🏼 Oh! Are those all birds shoes you're wearing? How were they? I recently bought the protectant ones for rain and have wool on the inside to keep me warm during the winter and I have been loving them BUT how did they do for your trip to Japan? How long did they take to break in? I've had them for about two weeks now and use them while walking in town but haven't done any long trips with them yet. Thanks!
Thank you for commenting and glad you are enjoying the videos that’s one of the reasons we make them!!!! Onsens are 10/10 absolutely amazing and going in February will be a great time to enjoy them! Yes they are Allbirds we have had a few pairs and they definitely don’t take long to break-in we bought them earlier in the trip and kayla started wearing them almost right away! They were amazing for walking around Tokyo and Hakone (also the people at the Allbirds store in Harajuku were amazing🤩)! You are going to love Japan!
incredible video - love it!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🤩
I love the gift and treats for the flight attendant idea
We also love the positive reactions we get!
Biggest question… were the choices you picked great, or do you wish you had changed things up? Heading to Switzerland in early December and only taking a 38L backpack.
I had no complaints with what I packed for this trip. If you’re only taking a backpack, then maybe you can bring fewer outer layers like sweaters and bring more base layers since they take up less space and allow you to rewear your heavy layers more! I’m not sure how long your trip is, but we like to book a place with laundry in the middle of our trips so that we can bring less and just wash our clothes 🧼
Korean fried chicken. And the re-enactment !
Late but best video ever
Thanks for the tips. Doing a video for last week nov, 1st week Dec. Hopefully not too cold😂
Love it, good luck! Its really dependant on winds are!
Any camera that works for the person using it is worth the hype. Lol.
True! the best camera is the one you have with you!
Toured Europe with an EV, and honestly, it was smooth sailing. Super easy to charge up, and way cheaper than gas! ua-cam.com/video/QPyFv9_jdmU/v-deo.html
Great info, I have the same microphone in this video but have been unable to plug it into my computer to use only my phone. I notice that you have a device connected to it at the base of the stand (it appears to be). Can you share what that device is and where you plug yours in?
Sure thats just the Rode Wireless Go II. But if you have the same mic i do there should be a usb c port on the side you can use just connect it to your phone or laptop!
the hello kitty head rest flap rocks!
it's Casado! typical lunch meal...
We’ve watched all your Iceland videos and used them on our vacation! We loved it! Doing the same thing with Costa Rica now. Love this channel!
We're so happy our Iceland videos inspired your trip! Enjoy Costa Rica! 🤩
We haven’t been to Osaka. Great vlog and tips, really enjoyed it. 😊
We loved Osaka! We definitely need to go back and spend more time in the southern part of japan!
MOS Burger!!!
yummy matcha desserts!!
It would be nice to get one 8 months after release 😂
Yeah hopefully @Fujifilm will get the production sorted out!😅
I've had this camera since the Limited Edition launch, this is easily my favourite camera to use (I shoot professionally with Fuji Gear) However, there are a few little annoyances that are not deal breakers, but can be improved. By the way, I use this camera all the time in professional settings, because of 1 reason, the Leaf shutter, I have a very specific use case when using flash No Client cares if I shoot with GFX, Fuji X or this, they care about the results :) Always run Camera in Boost mode, buy a 2nd battery (Autofocus is much faster) The Official leather case, doesn't allow access to the usb port (so in camera charging means take it out the case. Putting the lens hood or filter rings on is unnecessarily awkward (having to apply an adapter ring first). The camera should be fully weather sealed out of the box (a new lens is needed for the 7th Edition) Nice video
Yeah that second battery is definitely a good buy and I will give the boost mode a shot! Thanks 🙏
@@benandkayla I'm lucky I guess as I have lots of the battery's from other Fuji cameras. I also don't take a thousand shots a day (I'm mostly in the studio) and when walking around I seldom take more than a few dozen photos (I don't think I have ever used CH or CL, I have the luxury of taking my time)
Hi, The lenshood from squarehood is a better design for your X100VI I think. Nice Vid btw
Agreed I absolutely love the look, Thank you🙏
after waiting nearly 8 months for my pre order to arrive im so happy with it. Eye detection on pets is surprisingly one of the best new features!
Yeah I’ve had some trouble with the face detection but overall the autofocus is solid!
Yep
you had me at anti ninja technique! Great video!
Great tips, we love Kyoto and Japan. Great vlog 🫶
We do too! Thanks for watching 😊
My son Jason lives there
Happy to see you enjoying the nature of my country! 🦎🌳🕷🐜🦋🐦🦥
It’s a beautiful country!
お二人の思い出に残る旅になりますようお祈りいたします。💐💐💐
Thank you so much! 😊
Nice video!👌 It was nice meeting you there. 👋
Nice meeting you as well!
Appreciate the video, trying to explore my options before I jump into content creation
Yeah as you start out you might not need much storage but as you make more and more it’s going to be a problem 😅
Myself and the wife will be in Japan Oct 3-24 (first time). Did you guys have any apps you used frequently?
Not really to be honest mostly we used the Suica app (but its 100% in Japanese) and apple/google translate, and a-lot of apple/google maps 😅 We do use airalo and ubigi for esim while we were there both work pretty well bug ubigi was better for 5G!
Beautiful awesome Castle
Nice video! I have been to all the places you visited in this video and definitely recommend them all. One thing we did was go to the Skytree at sunset, and it was beautiful. Keep up the good work
Skytree at sunset would be amazing!!! Thanks will do, we appreciate the comment!
Thanks
What was the door to door time? Home door to hotel door in Japan?
It was pretty close to 22hrs -> 19 for the flights+layover plus 3 for the rest
I'm going in November! Do I need a permit for a drone?
Yes its more like a registration and license but here’s a link that explains more -> drone-laws.com/drone-laws-in-iceland/
No vieron monos o perezosos en Manuel Antonio? Si no vieron les recomiendo contratar guías porque ahí es súper fácil verlos y puede ser que se estén comentando en los lugares incorrectos
We definitely recommend hiring a guide in Manuel Antonio especially if you want to see animals! I think we went on a down day sometimes that just happens!
@@benandkayla siiii ... Así es ver animales en su ambiente, es pura suerte ... Saludos amigos ... Muy bonito su vídeo 😊
I bring snacks when I drive to the airport to catch a flight. And I MAKE SURE i LEAVE my luggage IN the CAR!!! NO bag FEE for ME!!! When I arrive I’m NOT hungry, just need to buy LOTS of new CLOTHES!!!
oh no that’s not good gotta bring the bag with you!! 😅
Thank you for the video! Good information! Could you please let me know what is the battery life in real shooting underwater? Also, have you experienced camera over-heating underwater?
Thanks for the question! With the FX3 no overheating especially with the fan and the larger case set to high temp shutoff. I have had run times of 1-2 hours depending on frame rate 120 will kill it in around 1 hour. You can get a USB C pass though the case to charge it between dives. Please let me know if you have any other questions ill try an help!
@@benandkayla Thank you for your informative reply. Using a USB C cable is a very good idea. I've never heard about it. Do you have it? Is it a special USB C cable? Also, are you using an external monitor?
cool video...pura vida
Thank You for watching 🙏
Thank you Ben for this helpful information!
Glad it was helpful!
One of my favorite places.
Its a great place one of our favorite markets in the US!
Ben! What's up brother! Stumbled on this video because I'm in Europe and thinking about renting an EV. Small world! Thanks for the information this was helpful. I'll rent a diesel
Hey😅 yeah small world! We definitely had fun with our EV the charging network is way better than the US, but it still takes some time if you are going longer distances.... for shorter distances sometimes it works out well with parkings spots that have chargers it charges while you are eating/shopping/etc.... but ICEs are still the best supported infrastructure! Good Luck!

Holaaa
Yup, they were howler monkeys. Actually they howl just in front of you... sounds scary at dawn or early morning.
Thanks! They are quite loud and deep sounding in person! And you are right they went off at about 5am a few mornings!
My utube feed just added your channel recently. Great videos. I was wondering about your experience with renting a car there My only experience in Costa Rica is in Tamarindo and I didn't need a vehicle but I plan to go back and see more of the country Would you recommend any rental company over another
Thank you appreciate it! Driving can be intense especially is busy areas or on some of the mountain roads, but other times is can be very calm, It does help see more of the Country! (here is our blog post that might help -> benandkayla.com/costa-rica/ ) We went with Vamos (vamosrentacar.com/) as they were very upfront about prices especially as a number of other companies do not tell you about the mandatory insurance so you get an unexpected bill when you try and pick up the car... Vamos also accepts credit card insurance (if your card has that) so that can save a significant amount over a week of renting a car.
