@DrRank not exactly. You can't win a mini game, but since the first game removes coins for bad placements, you can at get any place that isn't first. And single player mini games are fair game since you can't win against nobody

This running gag was originally a reference to the Gem Path in Crash 1's The Great Hall. The PS1 version requires 20 Clear Gems specifically, while the N. Sane Trilogy can use any 20 Gems regardless of their colour.

@@steelbear2063 As it stands, the Super Belly Flop is the most useless Superpower in the game, being potentially the last thing you do for 106% completion. By locking the standard Belly Flop behind it, the SBF becomes a much more significant upgrade, and there is a greater incentive to go for it earlier in the playthrough.

And as I mentioned in the video, good luck holding Square for a single frame and not immediately charging afterwards.

@@DrRank Gateway to Glimmer is not named after the first level. It's named after the fact that Spyro was forcefully transported to Avalar. You may like whichever name you want, I personally have no preferences. But disregarding one title is dumb. Gateway to Glimmer is a symbolic name, because it's how Spyro got into Avalar in the first place. Instead of Dragon Shores, it transported him into an Avalar. Hence the name. And you are right, Ripto's Rage is named after a villain that servers the big role in the game. Both names are fitting the game well. Ripto's Rage has the "Cortex Strikes Back" vibes, while Gateway to Glimmer has more isekai/fantasy theme vibe. I know what you said in the video, I generally liked the playthrough, but to me submerging doesn't count as charging. Otherwise any no glide challenge ends in first world, because to enter another world you have to glide through the gate. That's semantic issue in both cases. But it's your video, your rules. Just saying that the handicap was unnecessary here, because submerging shouldn't be equivalent of charging. And tbh, using hard glitches like the level storage is more leeway than letting Spyro just submerge and not count it as charging, because that way you would be able to practically do anything you want, having the infinite flying in any world as soon as you unlock Gulp.

@@charmedrools1 Yes, that trade does exist on Route 14 in all three Johto games. But you have to provide the Chansey, which is impossible to get catchless, and the NPC gives you the Aerodactyl. Since you can already get Aerodactyl from a fossil in Gen 1, this trade is useless to me.
