This was very helpful, thank you!
I’m glad you thought so.
Jon, what are you reciting? I am trying to make sense of this. Whatever you seem to be saying, it seems to be devoid of any articles or connectives. Is there some sort of meaning behind this?
Zain Khan It’s poetry, make of it what you will. It’s your response.
Died in ur love. From Pakistan. Which country u from and what u do? Reply plz
Please do more Paradise Lost videos! These are amazing!
I’m glad you think so - but I’m a teacher and I’m not doing Paradise Lost any more. I might come back to it some day.
can you send me the ppt file or doc file
One more thing... just thought of this : Christopher Hill argues that Milton fails to show the difference between innocence and ignorance. Surely Adam and Eve can’t be blamed for the fall as they were unsure into what eating the fruit would actually do. They were told not to eat it but not told why they shouldn’t that in itself is god tempting them. I understand god may be simply testing them but if so he shouldn’t punish them. God created both them and the tree and almost wanted to see what kind of minds he created punishing them is almost like some sort of torture to a doll you have created it’s not fair. Moreover, if Adam and Eve is God's creation and they are disobedient doesn’t that make god a bad person and disobedient as it’s his mind that made them.
Also, thank you this was extremely helpful.
When you say 'revolution' what do you mean? is it about how parliament and Cromwell defeated the royalists or just everything? Bit confused and need to know for my A level exam.
By revolution I mean the defeat of the royalists. I’m glad you found it helpful.
ace!
thank you
