The nerf didn’t hit the ignition damage that’s why it’s still very good. They’ll definitely nerf the ignition damage after seeing it’s still super viable.

This comment section is so braindead. This nerf is almost nothing yes, the main complaint I have is that when they nerf it again or make any changes, they end up hurting the alternative more. What I’m saying is there has to be reason to run concecration on solar, and these nerf hurt solar more than anything else. Nerfs have to be more thought out.

Bolt charge just made spirit of contact number one for me

The nerf is quite minimal, as the main damage sourse is the ignition and not the wave. And Amplified get buffed with bolt charge, which give DR and reduce enemy's accuracy plus give some melee energy. IMO Titan's only weakness is lack of DR and heal, but now that amplified get buffed means we can go stacking more DR with amplified from Knockout aspect and Frost armor from Glacial Quake, i see this is a big buff than a nerf.

Why would they nerf the slam? Titan has the worst prismatic class. The only ways to gain health is from melee, none of the exotic armor fit with the aspects except melee armor.

Suutek - you probably know this, but didn’t use it for some reason. There is a small skip for the racetrack. You can use your Xurfboard and just fly across the gap with its hover mechanic. It starts at the point of the race track like usual, but you don’t follow it. You instead just turn to the right and look across the distance and there’s a straight line to the final finishing point.

The problem wasn't the consecration slam itself, It's the fact syntho was buffing the ignition damage to absurd level that makes it too strong. If they reduced the damage bonus to like 50% for ignition only, It would be more reasonable. They'd also have to take into account wormgod Exotic which that also buffs melee damage, No doubt if they never syntho, They'd go straight to the other exotic instead.

Everyone was trippin about the nerf but even Bungie said it likely won't do much since the ignition damage isn't affected. They said they'll likely have to nerf it further, and I agree. W run as usual btw
