Alvin and the Chipmunks - Soul Man
Переглядів 19 тис.16 років тому
This is me doing the Chipmunks technique, recording Soul Man by the Blues Brothers. This included de-tuning the instrumental track, recording it in that key and that slower speed, then speeding up the vocals to match the original. This only took about a half hour.
The Chipmunks sing "In The Still of The Night"

Got The Chipmunk Adventure, and wanted to waste some time so i did a little clip of my voice pitch shifted up 8 notes. The pitch shift is based on Ross Bagdasarian Jr.'s strategy for pitch shifting in the movie, as opposed to his father who shifted his voice a full octave.

And then 3 years later, the Penguins traded for Iginla at the deadline and coach Dan Bylsma absolutely refused to put him on Crosby's line, putting him on with Evgeni Malkin instead. As great as Geno is, the two of them never developed any chemistry on the ice.

Doesn’t matter where you’re from in Canada. This was everything for us. Hearing him calling IGGY for the pass…nothing touches that moment. How can you not love being Canadian. I love this country and I’m proud to be born and bred straight Canada. So thankful to straight up say I am Canadian.

Crosby has always been one of my favourite players, I recently won a Jarome Iginla autograph card in a box break, that was a cool pull, I have yet to see another one surface but I know there is at least 24 others of it lol, I have number 19. Maybe there is a shorter number auto to, out of 6. I still remember this day as well, the golden goal, was watching at our apartment in Nanaimo.

saw my boy Marleau - Greatest Shark of All Time (though Joe is a close second … eh, let's call it a 1-A, 1-B sorta thing) - in there. Way to go Patty! No one deserves it more. Glad he was on the ice for this moment. By the way - WOW was this a special moment or what?! I am American, obviously - from California - but don't feel any ire or animosity whatsoever towards Canada, the best nation-neighbor ever. I don't know how *they* feel about us, but to me, we are basically the same people. "Sister nations." (I actually remember thinking that I would feel slightly bad if USA won the Gold Medal, being that hockey is Canada's national game, which we are thankful to enjoy - the game, and all their players - in so many US cities. Anyways, yeah, just a really awesome Olympics moment. If I remember correctly this was in Salt Lake City.

Other countries play to win Gold in their most coveted international sports tournaments. The difference with Canada when it comes to hockey is they are playing not to lose it.
