The anime did it well but the manga art just fits this scene perfectly. It’s gritty and graceful simultaneously

I watched this mmv after the anime itself yet I still think manga is genuinely better But the pen spinning is pen spinning so I'm not gonna argue that anime sucks

⁠@@SA-nq6bt IMO they did good indeed, but the problem is in the manga, this scene is kinda bit of chaos and emotional, and the iconic scene “throught the heaven and earth, i am the honored one”, for me in the manga gojo is really flexing that he power up and become “strongest” and he enjoyed that feeling. Also happen in anime, but they made it slow and the iconic scene have different pov from the manga and thus for me, gojo are not flexing his upgrade but like declaring, nad kinda bit akward pose in the mid air, while if it from the manga pov, it the hand actually may point the sky and the earth. And to be honnest when toji say “unease”, i think it would better if he’s not saying that cuz its more about his feeling inside which denied by himself, not actually say it. Anime procedur decide to do that, its never bad, but for us who disappointed, it may can look better but this is what we get.

The pace makes sense however i preferred the faster rate since it felt way more intense, they could have slowed it down when the big explanations comes up but other than that i think they really should have made the battle feel much more quicker just like the manga, the poses were just completely questionable idk what they were thinking by adjusting them so much

They didnt mess up the animation but defo the poses, man i was so annoyed that entire day i couldnt believe they changed the "Maybe your so right" pose to the front perspective instead of left and same with Toji when he says "The fight is just beginning", and the "Throughout heaven and earth" etc the pose wasent really that matched up great, it just looked like he had his hand in the air for no reason, in the manga he was actually pointing to the sky (up) and the earth (down) but instead he pointed sideways a little

@@azooz897 yeah, we expected some itense action but they gave us more of an emotional, eerie spiritual awakening. interesting choice..

@@Screedomy Your so right dude, i was hoping for some badass and intense scene when Toji said "The fight is just beginning" but it was so plain, also the pace was so slow, the manga made it look so much faster which just makes it so much more vigorous, in the end the animation made it look way more emotional which in my opinion makes sense but i really dislike it since in the manga it was a mix of both intensity and emotionality

Agreed those little details could have made it much better but i guess we get what we get

I was thinking about this and how the animators would animate Gojos famous pose however if they werent able to capture it due to how difficult it is to draw then i wont blame at all, if they did it on purpose for some whatever reason then im quite disappointed

The piano music was extremely good so im against you there however i agree that the music type did not fit most of this battle when compared to the manga, i really wanted to some badass ost when the fight started but my main complain would be the pacing and just general speed, the manga made it look so much more intense whilst keeping it eerie however the animation made it look super super slow, the sword slash took 5 mins to swing and there was no music to it so it kept it real plain, the pose was a little inaccurate but i guess thats what we got

@@michaeljordan8630it was.and I’m not one of those MANGA BETTER🤓 weirdos but this I have to agree.gojo felt so bad ass this moment in the manga and this is probably top 3 moment in the series and the anime made it feel like a regular moment. The pacing was to quick the music didint hype me up and although the animation was clean it wasn’t as detailed as it should of.yuji and nobara vs the 2 cursed woumb was done better than that whole episode which it Shouldn’t couse like I said this was one of if not some would argue the best moment in the series.

​Overall the fight was just bland in my opinion, i get how its a Gojo awakening eerie type scene however it was just so plain, the battle felt super slow for e.g when Toji went to slash Gojo it took some time unlike in round 1 where he was just so quick so its a little out of logic there, the piano was extremely well played and just beautiful in my opinion however it really did not suit battle in general when compared to the manga which the manga felt so much more intense and vigorous, i like the episode however i will prefer the manga unfortunately
