The best part is the willful and wanton labor law violation @ 3:07
im trying to match M7 color code for a Ford, the camera was way worse than the color chip
Very good information
Beautiful 🏡🏕🏞
I bought a used camera and measuring instrument from EBAY in the USA. Can I use it without registering as a member of Axalta or DuPont? Can it be used with US specifications in Japan?
Great video guys. Really helpful
Plastic has more static then metal so when sprayed the metallic in the paint tends to stand up on plastic showing a difference in reflection of light so it’s never perfect.. blend it and send it
You don't use anti static wipes?
I know it's been quite a few years, but thank you for posting this! Great video!
They say inductor ? You can only induct ferrous metals. Aluminum and glass do not have magnetic properties. This tool must be a simple resistance heater, easily replaced with a heat gun.
it doesn't heat the glass, it heats the metal under the glass, softening the adhesive. induction works on anything electrically conductive, its just more efficient on things magnetic.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I never check the color!!! 😂😂😂😂 the camera is not even 80% good. Luck with mazda and honda
Con los tricoat son un problema
@@rojosub si le lijo com 3000 tomo la foto para la base
Puede ser, lo que yo hago es tomar una muestra convencional, el color mas parecido, luego dejo secar y alli aplico midcoat 2 o tres capas
🤣
You are 100% right through that camera in the garbage never even close ,funny how the rep will never come to your shop an demonstrate it’s all bs to get big dogs to by in
1.8? but that's a primer gun... even most primer brands today recommend a 1.6 nozzle. and that bumper is far from perfect match... i apologize for the negative comment but as a sole AXALTA distributor in the country where i live i think i have to correct you before people start looking at our brands in a negative light .
I'm rebuilding a front end collision on a '93 Silverado and I wouldn't even call that a total loss. Some scrapes on the underside of a Lexus and calling that a total loss? Really? You're just milking insurance money from well to do people.
So some scrapes on the undercarriage of a Lexus make it a total loss? Fear of the unknown? Really? What a joke.
I use that system every day. His customers must be blind
the color of the bumper was completely different
Hello,how much is this?
Bumpers will never match so even u do spray out you can't match any color 100% in any color you can get it close to a match but will not be perfect match. Haa????
Last time I remembered I was spraying out a 1.3 and it's more then enough with standoblue, standox from axalta
I would hate to work in a shop where you have a meeting on video about everything. Just give me a job card, order the parts and fix that disaster.
Enjoy the series. The staged customers are terrible actors, but funny to watch.
H@ck
the quarter glass had NO sealent ??
urethane comes off with glass
this was a real waist of time.
This camera does not match pearls at all!! Sand down a part of the panel you want to match with 1000 grit then take picture for ground coat then enter VIN for the pearl.
That 1.8 nozzle explanation was pure nonsense.... DO NOT LISTEN TO IT Folks.
Yeah and thats why the color he painted dont match
A company entirely made up of thick fuckers
hydorah عمل جميل وإتقان اجمل
Imperfications isn't a word either, is he new to English?
glem chally Might be best if you check a dictionary before making a comment? Imperfections- " A series of flaws or faults that reduce an item from perfect"
Great idea. Helps the people with bad knees remain productive. Thanks for a great tip.
Does all plastic sheeting maintain a natural static charge? Or is this a certain kind of plastic?
bumper looked dark test panels are a must with any paint line
I have seen brand new cars coming off the truck from the factory with plastic still on them where you can see that the bumper color is off from the rest of the car. Don't tell me you have never noticed that.
don't match let see with camera directly to the panel not just the side view
Jeep came from the model name; JP.
Lol, second episode he said "imperfecations" ;), enjoying the show.
Right? This guy says "THERE'S A SCRATCH!! IT'S TOTALLED!!"
1.8 fluid nozzle? Axalta recomends a 1.2 for Cromax Pro
you know things are tough when the boss wears a rolex while on the tools
There is no perfect match. Blendable at a stretch but never perfect.
TheFlowcoat Thats cause you never seen bodywork with a company that has a machine like this. Sure its not 100% but its 99% Thats very close.
No where close to a color match they just use this to sell to the boss’s that never even held a paint gun , color chips 99% are never accurate an the camera yeah been painting with “A” product for 18 years come show me that you never check your color somebody is lie n to you boss, get painters on here to tell the tell will be a whole different story
You CAN absolutely get an exact color match using that camera (Acquire Quantum EFX Spectrophometer M-6668)! It's better with solid colors than it is with a metallic, but some of that has to do with the fact that air pressure can change the color of a metallic. This video was a terrible example of a CromaxPro paint job.
a perfect match?
Wow that was good tip actually! Thank uncle Jerry!! This is your nephew in Montana by the way!
Can you pimp my 94jeep has antifreeze leak too
