Usually it is a good signed, since Stripe blocks fraudulent payments for you. If you let fraudulent payments pass through and the credit card owner dispute it, it would end up in expensive fees for you and would also hurt your account reputation.

Happy to hear back that you managed to set it up for yourself :D Correct, I "hide" my API keys, but for sure, it's important to have the right permissions on your Stripe API key, since by default they aren't "checked". Chargeblast seems good, I just wanted a solution for myself that didn't involve having to pay for a service when a part of it was already offered in Stripe. Keep me posted on your experience afterwards :)

@@HugoHamelcom yeah chargeblast covers "friendly fraud", when customers are too lazy to ask for a refund and call their bank for a chargeback You only pay when you get the alert, they say it's 25$ on average Still better than having a high chargeback rate and them shutting down the Stripe account I'll keep you posted, hope I remember...

Glad you liked it 🙏 It's a very good question, I am not a Stripe Radar expert and unless I am missing something, Stripe Radar is only to have rules pre-payment for example "Block if CVC verification fails" or "Block if Postal code verification fails" rather than being post-payment, so Stripe Radar doesn't seem to have more advanced automations like these. That's where automation tools like Pabbly Connect comes handy 🙌

Payments failing due to bank protection is on the customers end. One way to help with that is to activate 3D protection which will force customers to approve the transaction, but these protections are there to protect the customers, so if the customers are not being charged it simply means that they won't get access to your product/service.

Great question! I'll be fully honest with you, you just made me realized that Guest customers were a thing in Stripe. In my Stripe account, out of 176 customers I have no Guest customers, so I can not confirm you if it works with Guest customers. One thing that I would recommend you to do, that is quite simple, is to setup this flow in Test mode in Stripe, so this way you can test if it works with Guest customers. Logically, I would say that it should work, but since I haven't tested it, I can't tell you for certain. If you do test it out, please do keep me posted, so I can know if it works or not with Guest customers. :) Hope it helps!
