Pause. Reset. Restart.

Pause. Reset. Restart. There's so much power in pushing the pause button. We're so busy being busy & before we know, life is dictating our journey instead of us dictating what our life's journey looks like. It's okay to push the pause button. Hit reset & start again. Just like sometimes when our phones are acting crazy. We either power it off, clear the cache & restart, or we hit the restart ph...

It's Never Too Late For Your Second Act

Society has trained us to believe that once you hit 40, it's all over. Truth of the matter is, it's just beginning. Just like musicals and plays have second acts, so do you. It's never too late to do what you want to do or become what you want to become.

Source: www.podbean.com/eau/pb-bkd3r-1647725 I recently heard two quotes that stood out to me. "Fear Never Goes away. You become friends with it." "Everything you're looking for is looking for you." I said to myself, I should do a podcast on these two quotes. Fear is a natural and constant part of life. Become friends with fear. Accept and understand fear instead of resisting it. Benefits of Ma...

Source: www.podbean.com/eau/pb-rjmmh-156eafb I read in a guide to self-discipline that One of the reasons we don't have self-discipline is because we run from the hard, uncomfortable things. We would rather do the easy, comfortable, familiar things. I am a mindset coach, helping people shift the way they think so they can change the way they live. Hi Nicole, Congratulations on your book! Fantastic, a sistah making her dreams come true.. I am truly proud of you. I am new to your information and can relate to every aspect of it though. When it comes to detoxing I can understand because my husband and I had a house fire 2015 and had to be removed from our home for one year. Everything in our home was packed up and shipped to a local storage facility over 10 large storage bins. When we returned back into our home a year later, 2016, alot got donated, to friends, family and mainly strangers. I just did not have a need for it. Holding on to past items is toxic at times. Also my husband had a life before me, so we are a blended family with past memories. I try to now keep a simple life because accumulating alot of stuff is clutterence of the mind. lol..( is that a word). We were told by our insurance agent that they will have to only return the house back to its original look before the fire. However, we wanted a change and we demanded it. So we remodeled the inside of the house and made it look more contemporary /modern. due to the original design was established in 1963. Change is good, but alot of people form bad negative habits and get stuck in the past. . From our fire I also learned who our friends really were. Not many. When crisis comes most folks stay away because they think you are going to ask for a favor. Having a fire in your home is like almost dying. All of your belongs either got destroyed, packed up or not worth refurbishing. Smoke, soot, smell, and flames are all too real. I now have emotional/ anxiety issues where I don't have time for excuses from people who can't be in a healthy relationship. Its a choice, you either have a understanding or you don't. Both people must be on the same page. I was able to maintain a relationship with my fiance during the fire, get married (did something positive) and then redesigned our beautiful home. I made alot of sacrifices, and struggled through the mayham. No one is really prepared for a tragedy, but its how you recover and then how you tell your story to keep positively building and growing. . I know about DETOXING, I do it on a daily basis, mostly with people. Thanks Nicole for your platform of the new way of detoxing not just food but folks. Take Care. and thanks for your time and energy.

Gail, thank you so much for sharing. In the midst of tragedy, God has a way of restoring. We come out better than when we went in. You are right, change is good, but it's not only good, it's necessary for our growth.

+Johnny Zuagar It's that fear that keeps us in a holding pattern. It keeps us from flourishing. Taking risks is a part of life - you will either succeed or gain knowledge that will help you in the future.
