80s kid here and I was obsessed with Freddy. Made his glove. Made Nancy's house out of shoe Boxes. Elm Street 4 came out on Comcast playing on showtime or HBO and I would stay up into the morning hours and watch it on repeat in secret.

But why is it "The Berlin trilogy" when most of the music was not recorded in Berlin.

Oooh, I don't think"Outside" is overblown at all. It's not too long and not too complicated. It's just an excellent piece of experimental music. Well, if you see it from the perspective of a rock or pop audience, then maybe. But "Outside" is a record for his avantgarde fans. For me it is one of Bowie's absolute masterpieces, and among my top 3 Bowie favourites and one of his most essential records.

Anything he says is his own projection and judgmental exercises to let us only know what state he, himself, is in. Has nothing to do with Bowie, his life or what is being talked about. Those kinds of professional analyst ''experts'' are there because they put themselves there,,with nothing positive to say. None of us want his petty opinions! Other than that, good period and a good doc !

Cool interview, thanks. As a child I had an insatiable fascination with the character Freddy Krueger. I would draw him and put up posters of him, write fiction about him, etc., much to my very Christian mother’s dismay, lol. But I also knew Englund as the sympathetic alien from V which I also loved. I’ve never much looked into his other acting credits but now I’m inspired to check it out.

I have a feeling that Robert Englund is what Layne Staley would look like if he would have lived to old age

I found out recently discovered that he was also a punk rocker and had frequently spent time at the iconic punk venues in LA and was friends with a few bands he had some influence on west coast punk culture being Freddy

This was put together really well. Robert a true humble legend.

Did Fripp come back permanently after Heroes? Because he was great on Bowie stuff in the 80's as well. I think that was him on 'Teenage Wildlife'. Another massive song with a massive solo/riff. And then 'Tin Machine'.

In his childhood pictures in the very beginning, he looks so much like his mother, but I also see a little bit of his father too now I see where he gets his looks from very interesting ! 😊

I have seen many, many docs on Freddy Kruger and Robert Englund, and this is by far the best I have seen! I am a Gen-Xer, and I was then and still do have the "hots" for Robert! He is also one of my favorite actors that I have the utmost respect for!

NEW NIGHTMARE was Freddy emerging from the franchise to haunt the major players whom appear in the Hollywood presentation of depicting "Freddy Krueger"

For having so much in the way of make-up and prosthetics on, Robert is Freddy. Anyone else playing him feels wrong. He is now and will forever be my favorite.
