Wood Turning A Decorative Bird House
In this video I will be woodturning a decorative birdhouse. The body is hackberry, the roof is hard maple, the spindle is claro walnut, and the perch is sapele. This project was plagued with problems from the beginning, mostly self-induced :)
I went waaaaay too thin on the spindle, and it cracked while I was waxing it. It isn’t completely broken, and it luckily stayed together so I could snap some pics!

In this woodturning video I show how I turn a ring and jewelry holder from an offcut of a regular old pine 2x4 that you can buy at any hardware store or even find laying around your shop.
