HowTo: Persian Lamb Tongue Sandwich AKA ساندویچ زبان
Took us a while to put this together due to our life schedule. BUT here it is 🤤
In this video we prepared for you slow-cooked lamb tongue sandwich filled with lots of goodness. A bite of this flavorful beauty consists of lamb tongue that melts in your mouth wrapped in some freshly baked baguette, the salty crunch that comes from the pickles mixed in with some tomatoes, mayo, onion and parsley… wow, what a magical combination.
You just gotta close your eyes and recognize every single texture and flavor in your mouth.
Back home, this was one of our favorite late nights dinners, with a bottle of Coca-Cola. Good times.
.
If you decide to make this sandwich at home, then write down your grocery list and let's get to it, if not, then just sit back and relax as you watch the process of this mouthwatering sandwich.

Growing up I was always on the counter next to my grandma, mama, and aunts, watching them as they cooked the good stuff and sneaked me a bite.
Due to migration, it got taken away from me pretty early in life but there was one thing that always took me back home- the food…
We are the Tahdigers and this is OUR take on authentic Persian cuisine. Join us while we share with you our love for food, one Tahdig at a time.

I used to stay Hotel Esteghlal(formerly Hilton Hotel) about 43 years ago and visited one restaurant quite often. It takes about 5 minutes walk from the Hotel and each time visiting I ordered Barley soup with beef. I wish if I can make it by myself.

This is by far the most interesting looking recipe for cabbage rolls I've come across so far! And it looks absolutely delicious! 👍😛 Just one question, though, why fry the minced before stewing the rolls? Doesn't that make the meat unnecessarily dry? 🤔
