1 Galah, 2 cockatiels, 1 budgies, 2 Indian Ringneck. Chickens, rooster, and quails. Bird tips, tricks, training and play time. Featuring mostly the very smart Galah Mickey and his best friend Willow the cockatiel. All my birds are free to roam the house during the day with my supervision so it gets very hectic but always loads of fun and laughter

I think the curtain capers are his favorite game too! 🤣 unsure why it’s called it “a pocketful of quails” like the short of the quails. At least it says that on my end. I’m trying to edit it but it keeps crashing 🤦♀️

We ended up with 2 cross beaks. One I had to teach to eat but they are both doing great and gaining well. Lots of feathers now ❤️

Yes it did 😢 he gets very stressed because he was hurt by a cat when he was just a few weeks old. Some birds don’t care but it takes him ages to settle 😫

That’s exactly how I think. If it has a fighting chance I’m going to help them try. First thing I did was message my friend who is a vet for a second opinion. These wee ones are so playful and happy 🥰

This is actually a child’s toy sink. You can find them online especially Amazon. They are sold as bird baths now so try a search for “child’s play sink” or even “bird bath”. I hope you find one 🩷

@@MurphyFarm2014 hello hun 👋 thank you ☺️ Quail babies are doing ok. We definitely won’t do it again though. We lost 4. Ended up with 2 crossbeaks. I had to had feed one until it learnt to eat but now they are both gaining weight daily 🥰 and bounding around as quails do 🤣 Have a beautiful day ❤️

@MurphyFarm2014 have discussed with my friend who is a veterinarian and will weigh daily to make sure it’s eating and drinking. Crushed its food small. Seems to be doing ok. May end up being a special needs pet.
