Just in case you didn't think Prince was a musical genius listen to how he builds Erotic City in real fricking time. I always thought that this was one of my favorite Prince songs because of it's simplicity but after hearing this I realized that it is actually very complex.

His rhythm guitar is just legendary subtle and overpowering yet never takes away from the rest of the band! Just listening to the little things within this jam is what I take away the most. Brown Mark is absolutely killing his simple yet powerful bassline. Awesome integration of all the members and their musical genius. Once he's satisfied with the pitch, tone and speed they crush the last 5 minutes of this. Amazing to the ears! I would have paid good money to witness this sound check!
