      Yes, I know but I was starving, I usually buy it in the train station when I am catching a train home and I am on the go. I have been to that bakery, I am from Puglia I know the price is high but you can't compare prices in train stations/ airport with those of bakeries. You are right in general!

    The initiative itself was ok, but you didn't show Katowice at all, it's an incredibly original and full of life city, you happened to be there on a day when the city doesn't look like it normally is at all. You didn't even walk past the main, most stereotypical attractions, such as "Spodek" or culture zone. I don't want it to be offensive in any way, of course, there was just simply no Katowice in this video

      Thanks for sharing your thought! As mentioned in the video this was an unplanned short daytrip with my parents from Krakow. We were just standing in the station of the city looking at the screen for possible options. As the train we had planned to take to Wroclaw simply didn't exist! I did not have the chance to learn much about Katowice and the best places to visit, so we just decided to take a stroll and enjoy what we saw on our way! I guess some people are also interested in seeing lesser known areas or simply not the most famous spots as I usually am. I guess Katowice is also what was shown in this video, and not only what you recommended! Wish you all the best!!

    This is the town I was born in! :) As you showed in the video - it is related to major events in Bulgarian history. Also it used to be a big industrial center during Socialist era. But unfortunately, nowadays, it's a dying town - the population is mostly elderly people, most young people have escaped to big cities such as Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv, or abroad. I really hope things will turn around, because Lovech is a beautiful town and I enjoy it every time I return there. Thank you for showing my town to the people! Lovech is not enough advertised as a tourist destination. And thank you about not forgetting your Bulgarian roots. And if you allow me - just one correction. Cyrillic alphabet was not created by Cyril and Metodi, it was created by one of their scholars - Saint Climent of Ohrid. He named the alphabet after one of his tutors - Cyril. But Ciryl and Metodi are very respected as well, because they set the foundations of what is now Bulgarian script and literacy and they were also tutors of some monks, and as I already wrote later one of them created the Cyrillic alphabet which nowadays is the alphabet of not only Bulgaria, but also Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and even Mongolia.

    • @0xe849
      @0xe849 2 місяці тому

      It was not made by Sait Climent of Ohrid. The cyrilic alphabet was made in literally school of Preslav and there are clear evidences for this. The oldest cyrilic writings was found there in monks caves. And now about Saint Climent of Ohrid most of the books written during his time and after him was mainly written in glagolitic not cyrilic.

    Actually lovech was the revolutionary capital of bulgaria during the turkish ottoman yoke,and vasil levski made it the center of his revolutionary network of comitees and was visiting the city often to collect the comitee archive and documents ,thats how he was caught near lovech in the village of kakrina in local han(hotel and restaurant)levski was called by the turks jin-gibi or the ghost,cause he was always escaping in some ways that seemed supernatural to the turks like jumping over a high fenses or just dissapearing in the crowd....it is known that levski was imposible to find cause he used some disguises and the turks were seeking for help from the british and german inteligences and with their help they caught levski....infact the cia when was a new agency took some of levski laws about the revolution and conspiracy and they even have some of his verses put in cia headquarters in langly verginia...they use his knolidge and experience to create the agency.....levski means lion-like,cause he jump over a big hole or ditch that no body could jump over and they start calling him lion-like,or lionhearth

      Thank you Ron! Unfortunately I am not very knowledgeable of that specific area of Apulia as I live on the Ionian Sea on the western end of Apulia where the beach in the video is. I have been a couple of years ago in Otranto, where I visited the Bauxite Cave, Punta Palascio (the most-eastern point of Italy) and have been at the beach of Baia dei Turchi, which was nice. In general I hear a lot talking of Santa Maria di Leuca, Otranto and Torre dell' Orso. So I guess these are the most famous ones around there. On the western side the most known close to where you are staying are Gallipoli and Porto Cesareo but they are usually very crowded. September could be a bit better in that sense. Nevertheless, the perfect month in my opinion. If you have any more general questions feel free to ask! Happy holidays!!

      This was in late September. Right now I reckon that it depends on the day. Could be hot or cold, but definitely not for T-shirt nor shorts.
