How to Make a Professional Quality Paint Polisher for Cheap

Hitman: Elusive Target 10 - The Pharmacist EASY takedown

Here is a quick video for how to complete the 10th elusive target in Hitman. For this one I spawned in the kitchen as a waiter and stashed the sniper rife in the shed near the helicopter pad. Just wait for the target (conveniently wearing all white :) to go out to the balcony to enjoy the view and take her down with one shot to the face. NOTE: If you miss your opportunity the first time and she...

      @jasonfrank9806 2 роки тому

      disagree, see the results people get with the new wave of cordless polishers. sure, not as effective in correcting as a powerful corded polisher, but the cordless models can't be pushing much more power than a cheapie like this, if at all. this is a 60 watt polisher...with cordless having 18-20v batteries, i would imagine most are right in this range as well. so it doesn't compare well to more expensive corded polishers, but i bet it compares well (correction wise) to most cordless models, which are typically a lot more expensive. i've corrected paint in the past with a cheapie 10 inch random orbital 3300 rpm buffer. sure it probably took 3 hours to polish 2500 sand scratches from my hood when a good DA now would probably take me 45 minutes. but it does work with the right pads, compound, and some extra patience.

    • @MassiveLoop

      Yes, I used Chemical Guys VSS scratch and swirl remover (AMAZON LINK: www.amazon.com/dp/B001TJIDF0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_NIx5zbDFDDNW7 ) to remove scratches from shingles that flew off the roof on to my car in high wind. Worked like a charm. Of course an expensive rotary tool will work faster but with this cheap orbital this did not take long at all. You can use the same method that any rotary does and you wont burn the paint since the speed does not get high as they do. Great if you are looking to repair swirls without spending a ton of money.

    I tried searching for png icons but when I put it on the home screen it just stayed outlined black

    • @MassiveLoop
      @MassiveLoop 8 років тому

      +Nizar Tabbakh Make sure there is transparency in the source image. You'll see grey/white checkered areas in google image results, those are the areas that will be transparent. Also note that the transparency in the icon will not be visible until its finally applied, it shows as black when you scale the image (driving blind when working with all black icons).

  • @JohnBrodeur
    @JohnBrodeur 9 років тому

    Where do i get new icons from and where do i store them for this method. Thanks

    • @MassiveLoop
      @MassiveLoop 9 років тому

      John Brodeur I just did Google image searches for things like "play store icon" or "flat Gallery icon" (as you can see, my home-screen has a different Gallery icon too. The cool thing about this tool is it can just use any image to create the icon, even make the size larger too so it can take up more than one square. One thing that I came across after making this is that this tool DOES pick up the transparency in PNG images and such, but there is a slight glitch where the preview gallery just shows it as all black when cropping for the icon but when you apply it the transparency will look fine.[added to description]

    • @mattmaiorano
      @mattmaiorano 9 років тому

      +John Brodeur they defs need an app where you can download jpeg app icon images to your gallery

    • @MassiveLoop
      @MassiveLoop 9 років тому

      +Matthew Maiorano Yeah, that would be the web browser (Chrome in my case). LG would never be able to put together a collection of royalty free pics that would come even close to the amount of stuff you can fine in a google image search. I recommend going after png rather than jpg because of the transparency in png preserved. So , for instance if I was looking to replace the stock gallery app, I'd search: " Gallery icon png " and get more than enough results. Want to narrow more, try "Gallery icon flat png" then you'll get a good supply of flat material style icons.
