Sad Japanese Violin Music - Fields of Miyama
An emotional violin, cello Japanese-inspired piece, with an epic orchestral climax at the end. ''Fields of Miyama'' is an original composition by Emmanuel Yohan Lazzara (C) 2019.
This is a newer, revamped version of an older piece of mine which seemed to have gained moderate success. Here, I have added a harrowing violin playing the main melody and a more complex orchestration.

I am using a Roli, my first problem is to get the swam cello sound like a cello. Out of the box that should be the first goal. Expression is out of the question if can’t get off the ground with the settings.
Never used a Roli, unfortunately, so I can't help you with that, I'm afraid. =/

On a note about legato delays, Audio Imperia's libraries tend to avoid this issue entirely by allowing you to compose without any note delay at all, and then add it back on once the notes are in place. So you can play live and then add the offset back in for the final composition for full realism.

Hi, lovely tune & thanks for bohemian review, im looking at insanity samples ceĺlo vol 2 as a contender cello to end all celli in terms of ease of use. Bohemian sounds more earthy/ warmer to me, (I'm mainly interested in Nick Drake to Badly Drawn Boy early string tone). Insanity from the demos sounds really detailed but a bit bright/synthetic without trying it out, but I love the playability engine. Any experience with it?
I'm so sorry for my late reply. After having watched the walkthrough of Insanity Cello 2 I personally agree with you about the tone being brighter/less organic. It does sound a bit synthy imo too. Tho my main issue with it is not with the tone. I too like their approach to playability (and I wish bohemian also included a performance mode combining longs and shorts) but for me the legato in insanity is not there yet and not a patch on the legato in bohemian.
