I've got a set. Sent a few through a fench when I missed and they didn't break or mess up. I rolled them and they are still straight they are amazing arrows

As good a shot as you both are I’m very sure there WILL be meat in the freezer. On the broadheads, I have never used a mechanical in all my 50+ years of bow hunting. Magnus Black Hornets/ bleeders. 175 grains up front. 62#’s at 28”. 269-270fps. Pass thru hits nearly everytime on deer and antelope. Smaller pigs to about 150#’s usually get a pass thru if I don’t hit the far side shield on the exit wound. Bigger pigs usually end up breaking . Oh well!

I’ve used these Carnivores for several years now with excellent results. The pigs are hard on them though. 👍👍

👍👍. I actually enjoy shooting my hunting rig than my 3-d setup anymore. It’s not as demanding as getting those points as in scoring a shoot. I don’t use magnification on the hunting rig so an inch or two off target center is ok in my book. It’s great places in your area keep having events later than here in Texas. And anytime one shoots even or up with a hunting rig they haven’t been shooting for while is plenty good.

Our clubs here in Texas very seldom have any type shoot offs unless it’s a special event. Thanks for taking time to create this video. Wow! That's quite a place. An awesome event. Kinda like an Ironman thing. There's nothing even remotely like this in Texas. You are very fortunate to live in an area that can have enough people to really keep archery alive. Another well done video!

In PARIS ASA before they pulled out of Texas they would have 4 in a group at each target and the extra groups fell in line. We had to go into “ overtime?” that last year. I don’t like 5 but it happens.

I just can’t get behind that 12 call. I’ve always went if it’s not touching the 12 line it’s not a 12. In k40 ASA that’s getting called a 10 all day

👍👍🔥. A well done update on your years ASA journey. Those heavy timber events have to be so much fun nd challenging. We get a little of that in the east Texas piney woods. And that score on that black hog wasnt close enough to the 12 ring line to be a 12. It has to touch or pull ( deform) the 12 ring line . imo, the arrow needed to be at least a half shaft or more to the left. Since the arrow was on the outside of the ring mold mark it wasn’t deforming the 12 ring. IMO, it was a 10. I would have scored myself a 10. Anyway, awesome video. GOOD LUCK this hunting season

Love the scoring concept. I would enjoy a shoot like this but only with more realistic yardages. No 73 yarders like stuff. Yea, I know it’s just a game thing and not related to real world hunting shots ( unless you’re Josh Bowmar shooting game at over a hundred yards lol). What was awesome is that this is the ONLY video I’ve ever seen where people actually know how to use a release. Refreshing!👍👍

Seems like I received two different sets of metal scales with this guy. Should all of the 20s be about the same distance down the tape, then the rest is based on bow speed?

Does the Sight have gross adjustments for distance? How many feet per second do you gain with the arrow twirl? I was always told about 5FPS.
