It may just be me being ignorant to whatever is going on in Nigeria right now, but from what I've seen of the project and its end results, the Lagos Metro and the Abuja Metro both have to be the most incompetently planned and executed metro systems that I've ever seen. So many illogical and stupid decisions were made in both projects, so many of the stations in Lagos are so, SO overbuilt (it seems like some people got a good amount of public money by building unnecessarily large stations), the Red Line IS RUN WITH MAINLINE TRAINS. If any of you ever get the opportunity to go to another country with a metro, you will see how this project was executed in some of the most idiotic ways possible.

The Wi-Fi notices have been there since these HST trains previously operated in the UK. They may look new, but are in fact almost 50 years old! I’m pleased to see Nigeria making further use of them.👏

Planning on visiting a friend in iju & I want to use this train.. but the roads leading to the train station looks weird. Is there a path way for cars to the train station? Because I am planning to book an uber to pick me up at the iju train station when I arrive… is that possible? I am just worried walking alone through that narrow path

The Red train is not like the Blue train. Bring the blue train type to the red line.

I’m impressed with the trains…. Both state government and federal government seem to be running their trains well. Lagos state government is doing a great job with all its transportation infrastructure etc, but a whole lot needs to be done to control driving behaviour as well as the hawkers etc.

15 to 20 years ago the people around Oshodi would be dressed in poor clothes, dirty clothes etc. Now look at EVERYBODY looking well-dressed and sharp. Living standards have improved in Nigeria without a shadow of doubt.

Governments need to do quality roads and also cover the gutters, this is how we can develop and be healthy, it is time to change the ways of our environments...

I have never seen a country that litters like Nigeria. Just look at the side of that fence at the train station. Why are we like this? I really don't understand. Don't we like clean environment? Nigerians are very religious too. As the saying goes, cleanliness is next to godliness. Please, people, this is our country. We have to treat it with the best respect. Thank you, sir.

DESPITE I RESIDE IN MUSHIN 📍😂. THE TICKETING PRICE FROM IKEJA TO MUSHIN IS TOO HIGH. AND AGAIN MY RESIDENTIAL AREA IS OFF ISOLO ROAD 🛣️😂. THE DAY I TRIED USING THE TRAIN I WALKED A DISTANCE HIGHER BUT I CAN'T TRY IT AGAIN I RATHER USE SMALL BUSES TO NAVIGATE FASTER. THE REDLINE IS JUST TO BEAUTIFY LAGOS MAINLAND A BIT. THE ULTRA MODERN MARKET 😂. WASTE OF FUNDS TO ME JUST TO BEAUTIFY MUSHIN LANDMARK THINGS ARE CHEAPER OUTSIDE THE MARKET AREA. NICE VLOG🎉
