i spent 123 hours and its my first playthrough, am i cooked?

Love this game. Also grew up hearing about it and people saying it was good and such. I was already interested by how it played and look and sounded so when I got a SNES classic as a present I just played it from start to finish. I was hooked to say the least. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the game. It's whole a RPG adventure that I could play in a matter of hours with not much grinding or stats or everything else. Just how I like my Mario RPGs. Even if it's the base of the other two RPG series, it has such a strong identity that it could become its own series alongside the other two. Then I played it on the Switch a month after release and really, just had a gosh darn good time. Loved the new aesthetic and the new OST, the post-game content, the little extra additions to the battle system. It was such a blast for me and I've been itching for a Mario RPG experience for a little while now and since I'm not getting Mario and Luigi Brothership until later, I might just pop either this one or TTYD in again

I had the exact same experience its kind of crazy. Got the game on release played until a bit past half way. Didnt pick it back up until I had 100% TTYD months later and was itching for more so I reluctantly finished the game, its a good game just kinda suffers being a 28 years old gameplay wise.

uh... hot take i think this game is bad and it was so overhyped, the more i played it the more i hated it, the level design wasn't fun, the battles felt like a more waste of time more than sticker star because you get so little EXP and coins and it's just presented in a blank box, it feels like you get nothing, the art direction is nice but it looks so bad and the animations are so stiff, and the music is peak yoko my goat

You missed all of silver’s upgrades. They all really improve him and make him on par with the other hedgehogs.

You don’t have any experience with Silver because (aside from the portable Rivals games) this is the *only* game that he plays any role in. But after the success of Shadow Generations, something tells me that'll finally change soon...

It seems wrong to not have Silver's gameplay consist of momentum throttling a high speed short range dash or jumping on a rock while picking it up at the same time sending you careening while trying to adjust your position and direction barely able to maintain a semblance of control.

It's interesting to see how someone that didn't have the full bar teleport dash upgrade try to S rank all stages I just went to Dusty desert to get the upgrade and got S rank on all stages 😂 My hardest stages to S rank was probably Crisis City, Tropical Jungle, and flame core ( BECAUSE OF THE FUCKING ENEMIES JUST SPAWNING OUT OF NOWHERE) And funny enough I S ranked silver's kingdom valley first try lol

Silver, like sonic has two upgrades. One in dusty desert and one in aquatic base and they are definitely worth getting. Also i would argue silvers the most complex combat wise and gets rid of enemies really easily. Combining the pyscho shock and grab all kills all enemies in a radius

This is why people need to read the PDF that comes with project 06. The game does NOT tell you what moves you have, and you missed a LOT

I really miss Silver the Hedgehog. I really wish he was seen more majorly again in some or even many more games since his debut. Sorry if no one knows, but I really wish I knew what was the huge deal for introducing him in the first place before keeping him a lot of times unseen.

Took me a while too but once you get into the rhythm of things it’s pretty easy I have s-rank on all the levels in all the campaigns

Regarding a few things, first of all you are on silver release 1.0. The most current version is 1.4 which makes some of the levels easier to s rank ususally in silvers case. Your save file does carry over and if you need help with how then I can answer. Second there are hint rings telling you "If you press the right trigger, you will be able to walk on this sand". And also I'm not sure you got it but the rainbow gem is a thing in kingdom valley for you to get. Thats all, nice vid.

looks like u hit algorithm compared to ur other videos, i'd definitely do shadow and silver videos if i were you, personally i couldnt tell that you're a smaller youtuber until i checked viewcount when I dropped the sub, the video is really well made, no clutter no overedits but feels smooth 👍 i wish you luck man

Aa few tips for people having trouble with S ranks - Get the yellow gem (shield) if you are having trouble with enemies - Pay attention to the combo system - Don't go through rainbow rings during a combo (they will reset your combo) - You can slow down in mach speed sections, also just use the light dash and you not get hit, if you press forward during a light dash you will be invincible from item collision (not enemy, just random boxes and stuff from Crisis City for example) during the light dash - For stages with mach speed sections as long as you don't die in the end you will be fine - The time bonus is ridiculous for most of the stages, so just playing the stage normally and killing a few enemies is enough - Aquatic Base? Just play the stage, the time combo at the end of the stage is ridiculous, you can die, go back to the last checkpoint and still get the S rank Funnily enough the hardest stage for the S rank (at least as a Speedrunner) is Tropical Jungle, as for other stages just play, kill a few enemies, avoid taking damage and you golden.

Sounds like a skill issue to me
