Oh dear 😬 This poor sail shade might think it’s a fish on land with all the flapping around it will do before the end of the season… No offense but I’ve seen tighter sail shades on my 6 year old niece’s plastic toy sailboat he plays in the bathtub with. What you need is a proper steel anchor point with a turnbuckle & some cable. Or if you’re going to use a rope at least a simple taut-line hitch knot for adjustable tension.

Dang! Did you invent these? I would love a pair of these so I can hang a shade sail. Need to elevate my porch because my railing only stands 4” tall. These easy rails would be perfect! And they are interchangeable with different surface materials!

What about the wind pulling on the pipe and railing? Because this definitely would rip off my railing. I have used Sun sails for years with deck post and cleats that sailors use and eye bolts to do this, but over time the wind pulls on the posts and railing. I have brace the post which has made it a little better. I need the sails for my deck all summer. Looking for Solutions.
