Yet most Euro trucks are automatic and we have no issues with it. USA, cars are auto and trucks are manual. Euro it's the other way round lol.

Hate it when the automatic gets stuck in neutral and isn't jerky. Those seamless shifts and effectively saving gas really grinds my gears

Mack trucks have a +/- selector switch for the trans

I've only had those issues with the freightliners. I'll put it in reverse, and it'll take a few seconds to switch

Your company probably has adapted speed limit where the truck doesn't go past speed limit or just 5 over and the transmission won't shift

With auto trans they can throw any joe in a truck and pay them nothing.

Manual ..because the new transmission’s snap drive shafts then transmission is gone ..Not good for sliding tandems on trailer… Truck don’t know when to stop engaging ..then now trans light starts coming on omg ..23yrs driving And I never seen a bunch of trash driving around

I don’t think you forgot to crank the legs down. I think the hydraulics went out. It’s not possible to pull a truck out without cranking down the legs. He would’ve torn the back of his truck up. Also, sometimes drivers do this so that somebody else don’t come along and snatch the trailer.
