That's fantastic. I can't wait to try this on something.
This looks wonderful
Nice job mate. Very effective marble.
I've seen lots and lots of marble tutorials and this one is TOP! Idea of putting UV resin is GOAT. Can't thank you enough, it's looks so unique and so realistic.
@@mind-games-pl 🥲 thank you kindly!
@@lumchop_miniatures Are you going to make some more videos? I am truly impressed! Btw. is UV resin breakable? I am thinking about breaking it with hammer to make ruined marble floor.
Awesome! Thank you
Love the finish effect ❤
Liked and Subbed!
some days I hate the algorithm... and others, all-mighty algo drops a gem like this vid in my feed... *PRAISE*
@@neil2242 😭😭 thank you
Dont use bob ross. Dislike and bye
the mold lines and the barrel of the gun :O
i saw this and subbed to you dude!
Thank you!
skilled sir
💯 clean marine
CLEAN MARINE

Clean marine
very nice work. I like the effect you got
You have an extremely Bob Ross esk vibe and I love it!
:') thank you, hecking lovely comment
Now bring a hierophant bio titan
Love this version of marble basing. Insta-subbed.
Aw jeese! I've found a more convenient way to do it since completing the entire Marble Based Death Guard Army, so I hope this new version makes you just as happy. (It's more just for time-saving, it will all be explained in the Death Guard Army video I'm hoping to release this month)
@@lumchop_miniatures I wait with bated breath. Basically. Going to try this with my Sacred Rose sisters.
Clean Marine. That's amazing
Thank you!
This is way better than the dryer sheet technique. Takes more work, but the results are fantastic.
I'll be releasing a video on my whole 1k pts D.Guard Army painted in 30 days, and there's a faster way to do it without ruining the quality of the bases
@@lumchop_miniatures I need to see this!
not to over-simplify but... paint and uv cure resin? that's... really nice. I think I may have figured out my Custodes Kill Team bases
Low and behold, when batch painting 40 bases for the Death Guard Army, quick spoiler before I release a video on it. Airbrush white on all the bases, tackle every base with Grey and Black, Gold Detail, and self drying Still Water Resin on all the bases. The cheapest and fastest way to do it. Not as neat as UV Resin, but it did the job trying to paint 1k points in 30days
well I know what I'm doing for my Deathwing knights
That's an absolutely fabulous army to put on some marble bases! Can't wait to hear how it goes!
You deserve more subscribers
Aw jeese! Thank you!
Absolutely sick! thank you! the technique is much simpler than it looks, and that's the beauty of it!
It really is however you're feeling and what kind of marble you're using as a reference, big advocate of having fun when working through the steps of painting!
None of those were shapped like udders
Oh damn, you right. I've bought more DG models today, so I will make sure to make at least one of the bases Udder Shaped Marble 🤗
I’m feeling you man,I’ve got a mauler fiend, a Mutalith vortex beast and a storm raven next to my desk and a box full of terrain in the cupboard.👍
Love it! Channel our inner child xD
Looks incredible, I will try this for sure, just have to decide a model to use it for! Thanks.
Any model has permission to stand on their pristine marble base! Good luck painter!
I frequently being my newly painted Marines to the Domino's pizza I work at. Everyone loves playing with the little toy
Also got to be careful nobody takes that jewel
This man is living the dream. Also nicely painted Kraken.
Thank you 😊
@@lumchop_miniatures Always •^•👍
Sick paint job dude, ignore the a-hole who commented first.
It's all good! I still have a desk and miniatures on it, so I can't complain 😅
Assuming you have a desk. So this litterally only applies to office workers. Congrats on this being your first day in the world. But please stop loser
Who asked. Enjoy your lack of happiness quietly please.
Thank you! Yes, it's a really nice desk! Grateful to have the opportunity of working an office job! Spent so long on the production floor that this is a dream of mine ❤
Very cool technique
Thank you!
when super gluing a model on these bases have you had trouble with the super glue fogging up ?
I have just superglued all the models to the bases last night for the entry to 40k40days. I'll let you know once I'm home today if there's been any changes on the bases. Thank you for pointing this out!!@
Well done
Rock on brotha’ 🤙🧐 F**kin’ phenomenal‼️
Thank you! 🤘
Have you considered sanding the bases to get that polish texture? I've been doing that for a bit and I haven't tried your resin method yet, so I'd like to do a comparison. I love how shiny your bases are! I gotta get some of that resin. For context, I've been making marble bases for my Emperor's Children. I also throw in some pink as the underlayer, but I've just been using clear coat from the rattle can. The effect you've got going is way more of what I'm looking for. I love to see these kinds of videos that give me an idea to implement in my next step of progress.
Heyo! Sanding the base is definitely a step that could be added. But recently, since making this video, I've purchased "Still Water Resin" as the cost is better than UV resin, but the drying time is alot longer than the instant UV. Due to the drying time taking so long, I've been happy that I didn't sand the bases, because the Still Water Resin now has something rough to stick to. If my bases were perfectly smooth before applying the Resin, it might run off the edges (I accidently tilted one of the bases that was drying and it started to run everywhere xD)
Stumbled into your channel, love your base and they way you teach. Loads of fun and good information. New subscriber.
Thank you 😊 I hope to keep making more of these, and only because these comments are so wholesome 😁
Cool man thankssss 🔥🔥🔥
No, thank you for the view and comment! Means a lot genuinely!
Very cool
Fantastic technique! Looking forward to those Clean Marine tutorials!
CONGRATULATIONS @DuckAbuse for being the second Winner of our Giveaway, contact me to organize sending it your way!
This looks absolutely amazing! Keep at it man🎉
Thank you very much!
@@lumchop_miniaturesBy the way good luck with the 40k in 40 days challenge. I haven't done much compared to others lol.
That’s really really cool man. Thanks for this chill tutorial, I like the vibe. A lot of bigger UA-camrs suffer from the “you have to do it this way” of thinking, but yea this is a silly little hobby. Glad UA-cam recommendations were random for once
Aw jeese, these comments are warming my heart. I can't tell anyone "you have to do it this way" when I'm only less than a year into the hobby, and still don't know what I'm doing xD
Can't wait for the next video!
Great tutorial! I’ll definitely be giving it a shot with my Custodes!
