This was a while ago but I was using the mad cat pellet 360 rods, penn affinity 8000ll reels and 30lb berkley big game

"Mostly nocturnal" - not so. Using one rod during the day wastes so much time and opportunity. Float fished livebaits will catch all through the day.
As it was 35 degrees the main reason we barely fished during the day was for the sake of the fish. Didn’t want to cause any unnecessary harm

Great video guys slowly working my way through them all. How many kg of pellets do you go through in a session? Looks like a 25kg bag?
Typically on a 48hr session we would only use around 5-8kg I would say. It all depends on how the fish are reacting to bait

Softer baits tend to do well this time of year, worms, live bait, spam etc.

I've always fancied going for cats, and as we have a few decent cat lakes here in Shropshire, I got to UA-cam and found your film. Unfortunately if it’s not hooked in the mouth with the hook and bait your using then it doesn’t count. But I would be take great satisfaction in the fact you were able to remove the rig and line it was trailing so nice one 👍

Great watch boys . Fished for carp this year in France . One of the lads had cats to 104lb . I had carp to 32lb . Living the dream . Just booked anglers paradise for short break next March . Keep doing these great vlogs . Loving it 🎣🎣🎣🎣👍

When they had catfish in “easy access” lake, that was absolute chaos with a lump of chorizo. Great sport. Main lake is a beautiful lake. You guys need to visit my local cat lake. Earls Colne reservoir in Essex. It holds the biggest cat in the uk. Stocked at 147lb, lat caught in October 23 at 133lb.
My mate lives up near earls Colne, definitely need to get up there at some point!
