Llancaich Fawr the most haunted building in Wales
She felt it something was right behind her, she felt her body go cold she was terrified her legs went weak like they belonged to someone else, every nerve urged her to run and with that the cat jumped free and they both ran.
Just to let you know this weeks video is a little different as some of you told me you would prefer no video, so I am going to trial that on this episode, let me know in the comments if you prefer this or you want your video back.

It is always a pleasure to wake up to a Stuart Anderson Harris video after a previous bad day. You reminded me of some research I need to do on Stockport and Manchester. As for the ghost story, I love a good ghost story about historical events. If no more than for entertainment value, they help keep history alive and in memory. I am one who believes that the earth records events that once happened and that it is possible for some people to see the "recording" as it were. Others have vivid imaginations. To me it doesn't matter when the ghost story aligns with facts. Thanks once again, sir.

Very entertaining and thought-provoking story. Very well presented. 🙂 Whether there was a ghost (or a spirit) in this particular case, I wouldn't be able to say. I think it is safe to assume that she did think that she saw a ghost. Otherwise, she would probably not have had such a strong physical reaction. It is also well documented that some people do see their loved ones after their passing over. So, if she said she saw her husband after he passed over, who are we to say that is untrue? And if she did see her husband after he passed over, I think she probably had a pretty good idea of what it is like to see an apparition. That doesn't mean that she was comfortable with it. It is not uncommon for people with strong psychic abilities, who may have been unaware of these abilities, to be uncomfortable with it once confronted with the reality of it. For one thing, people around them, who don't have the gift, (and are supposed to be supportive) are always very quick to condemn the fact that something they themselves are unable to perceive, is even possible. There have been documented cases over the years of people who died a violent death, to hang around the place, and that their spirit only pass over after their bones are uncovered and they are given a proper burial. They say we all have psychic abilities, to some extent or another. But, as with everything in life, some people are just more gifted in this area than other people. Although it is quite possible that the story may have been elaborated over the years, I always like to look for the golden thread of truth, because most stories have them. And that reminds me of the line by Shakespeare in "Hamlet" (Act 1 Scene 5): “There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy" , or, if you will, "[a]ll we know is still infinitely less than all that remains unknown." (William Harvey)
