I did WoD blind the first time, insisted by my FC. It was not fun for me. So I made some macros telling the main mechanics. Not all of them, but most of the big ones like how avoid or dispell the Doom. We tend to do pretty well in my raids with a bit of extra guidance :D

Honestly? I can't blame him.

I can't imagine using a controller in this game. Using keyboard and mouse with legacy movement settings is so damn good. I only miss mechanics if I am new to that raid or I'm having a bad day.

World of Darkness...always a wild ride, even in the best of times. I love when tanks want to fight over aggro and end up cleaving the entire raid on pretty much every boss but Cloud. That and when they leave Cerby with his butt aimed at the Slabber puddle, so everyone who gets in is immobilized and gets smacked by Tail Swipe (and usually murdered). Great times.😂

God this needs an "I just died in your arms tonight" edit.

I just look up a guide on what to do before the fight. Being a sprout white mage as well, staying alive and not messing up the mechanics for everyone is my main goal.

As a proud samurai sprout I'm so anxious everytime I do a new duty for the first time, I can't imagine how tank sprouts do new dungeons. (would be neat if the game explained you mechanics you've died to at least once)

i find world of darkness tend to be a coin flip, where either everything runs super smoothly no issues or theres a herculean struggle to not fuck up. i also find that tends to revolve around how well a tank copes with a raid, which is why i tend to avoid playing tank in raids and just stick to dps or healer.

Guys... They are sprouts. Do you honestly think they know what is going to happen during the fights when it's their first time doing it and absolutely NO ONE is explaining the mechanics to them? I've been a sprout and the only reason I wasn't shamed like these pour souls is because I was on VC with my friends. Yes it's going to be hectic. Because it is the first raids The first 24 players from ARR. The first real mechs you encounter with a bunch of new players. Cut them some slack. Explain the mechs if you see them struggling. Most of them probably feel absolutely horrible for ddying to all the mechs. Geesh... I'm not complaining about the video but at how many people I've seen bitching in the alliance chat but offering no explanation. We've all been there but Veterans seem to keep forgetting that.

Warrior Questline is one of the best questlines in the game and yet no one talks about it.

After the pretty bad Marauder quests, the pretty bad ARR Warrior quests, and the fairly mediocre Heavensward Warrior quests, they just went "fuck it, we're just Hildibrand now", and it's one of the best choices they ever made.
