metal
Love it
John you havent been the same since the divorce
I can't remember been married haha
Keep sharing people. Testing if we can go viral as an average person haha😅
Great to hear mate. Progress isn’t a straight road. Stay strong in the hard paths and embrace easy ones. ❤
Cheers pal.
2nd above comment, great video John and genuine lovely guy too glad you stepped through door 🙌
Best thing I did in afew months.
Great video and amazing to get some nice feedback. ❤
You and the team deserve it pal, made me feel welcomed 😊
Appreciate your videos and setbacks are a normal part of recovery just let the symptoms be no matter how uncomfortable
Yeh just trying to go with the flow, the more I accept the symptom the less it effects me.
Props sir, still haven't managed to go the gym myself yet. I can handle other stuff, like martial arts, but there's something about gyms.
Everyone is different and does things at there own pace. I couldn't do martial arts as I'm guessing it's done in a group. But it's great your doing it.
Thank you for posting this .. It made me cry and I needed to cry and release some anxiety. I pray for healing for us all who suffer from panic and anxiety.
I'm glad I helped in some way, that's my goal. Hang in there we got this
Same here we gotta feel the emotions its just anxiety hypersensitivity we fear how our emotions make us feel when we shouldn't we're human its normal also same with stress anxiety just takes everything to the extreme we gotta show our subconscious that there is no real danger by pushing ourselves and riding those waves of mental and physical distress anxiety makes us feel its gonna be uncomfortable but after awhile being calm and relaxed will become automatic
I couldn't of explained it any better myself. Exactly what you said. Hope people read that comment, I was in a dark place 7 months ago and would of liked to hear that then.
We got this. Just feel the anxiety it wont kill us, just uncomfortable. When the symptoms change a lot, it means you're making progress. It's called somatic shifting. Anxiety wants to keep you in the cycle and dont feed into the anxiety. Dont do any coping stuff, no meds. Just feel it the more you resist the more it persists. Your mind will keep feeding whatever you're feeling. Just acknowledge the symptom and let it be do stuff because you want to not for your anxiety like changing your diet and working out, etc.
Thankyou for the information, I'd never heard of somatic shifting. I knew what was happening but now I know what it's called. I am getting on top of things as I can feel it changing it up alot to try catch me out but I don't let it anymore, I just go with the flow.
😊
Thanks for the support
What you think about this new Linkin Park singer?😂
She sounds ok, not heard enough yet. People need to give her a chance they arnt trying to replace chester they are just moving forward. Chester would want them to go forward.
Keep it going guys. Drop those 👍
Yo this was a really good vid. I was also having a similar conversation with my therapist that I brought my girlfriend with me. He wanted to see how this affects her and how she responds to my panic attacks. And I'm definitely the type that sees it as I have no real triggers, this usually just comes out of the blue. But I am very sensitive to everything. I'm sensitive to my heart at all times, my breathing, certain aches of pains or muscle tension and I believe those become my triggers. We also discussed that one of the last times we went out to eat the place was crowded. It's not the crowd itself that affects me, it's the multiple conversation going on all at once along with trying to talk and listen to my girlfriend that is too overwhelming and stimulating. It's how other people's discussions about their own stresses and issues like when my girl gets off of work and talks about her bad day just gives me a bad vibe then I'm off to panicking. Very insightful video. When everyone around doesn't understand and then you hear something so similar to yourself from a stranger it's slightly comforting when you live a life of constant discomfort. Thank you, John.
Yes I have hypersensitivity aswel, muscles feel tight chest can tighten. All internal Triggers.
I'm in your area I'll come bike riding with you x
It's a date
Anthony Hopkins!!!!
🤣
Thought more people would relate but only 4 likes. Keep sharing guys let's reach people.
I relate to Linkin Park there are numerous songs that help me out...❤❤❤❤
@MaelColuim-lp3ji so so true ❤️ 💙 💜
John......I am truly sorry you are going through this. It is a very lonely disease. I was dx with anxiety disorder when I was young. I now have a pacemaker and being dx with other autoimmune neurological related things. After years of being told it was all in my head and just anxiety, I am now fighting every day to stay well. God Bless you John. I wish you absolute peace.
Thankyou, keep going. We have too.
Keep going John. You are doing incredibly well. Hope you get through this one.
@soulminer7759 not feeling too bad now, still abit on edge and stabbing in back for some reason that always comes.
First video is coming it's taken longer to load.
How long have you been on Sertraline?
Erm about 6 months now, but was on it for about 3 years before that.
@@averagejohn9680 oh wow. I just started on Prozac a month ago. Started on 20mgs for 25 days and moved up to 40 these last 5 days. It's been rough.
Dad rocking out on Linkin Park?! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO! if I was driving past - I would join in right away!
Yes brother 🙌 🎉
Not embarrassing my guy. Not embarrassing at all. roll the windows down. For extra impact!
Oh the windows go down, my son gets so embarrassed when I play loud music out the car and rock along. My daughter joins in.
So good to hear its getting less and less for ya. Hope to see you soon buddy
Cheers pal. Wishing you and family the best
Thank you john . Im a single mum from Australia i found your channel through a group on fb . I really appreciate what you are doing here, im goings to continue to catch up all videos. Your symptoms are very simalar to mine and this information has been so helpful. You are also very strong for sharing your story 💪 ❤️
Thankyou. Just trying to show people it's not just them, as I know how scary it can be thinking something is wrong.
Thanks again for making your videos. I was doing OK for a couple of weeks and then crashed again. Really horrible experience. You can't describe it to anyone that hasn't experienced it before.
So true. Unless you been there you can understand. Hang in there keep going it gets better
Sertraline is the only prescribed medication I take, and yes it gets worse for two weeks before it starts working.
How long have you been on Sertraline and did it make things worse at first before it got better? How long did it take and is that the only med you take?
On and off for years
Proud buddy. Its easy to give up on everything, but determination and strength to push from the dark side is power to go forward. Keep it going u are doing a amazing job 😊
Powering forward my friend. Thankyou for the support
Lol "must stay away from other humans"🤖
Mr antisocial 😂
I have found that throwing knives, and making throwing knives helps me through and helps keep my head straight during the day. What do you do at night when you are trying to lay down and go to sleep? I'm subscribed, Please keep this going -T-
I tend to listen to audiobooks or documentaries when I am trying to sleep
get on the mushrooms 🍄 mate, game changer
Worries me doing that. I've been taking that lions mane one.
It's a horrible feeling your whole body and insides feel tense and you mentally feel on edge and since you feel off you notice and pick at every physical symptom and think the worse its annoying 🤦♂️ I just thought about this the other day what I hate the most about this is we as humans get bored and tired of things but we feel this anxiety for minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years but that feeling never gets old always feels the same just different levels of intensity
It's so hard. But everytime I feel I am making progress so I have to keep going.
Great Video! Keep going 🔥
Thank you! Will do!
Some tips. Cut out refined sugars, refined carbohydrates, preservatives, eat high quality farm meats and vegetables, cut out all fast foods, cut out alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, vapes, try to sleep at least 8 hours per night, get a combination of cardio and weight lifting exercises, meditate, work on breathing for relaxation, do yoga, stretch daily, therapy if needed. If all this fails come back and give us an update.
@freelancerAM Thank-you, some very useful tips there for everyone.
where u from btw ur very well composed

Don't worry mate you're not alone I'm the same and to make things worse I've got a 24/7 headache that never goes away had a ct scan and I've got small calcified tumour probably from when I fell years ago and smashed my head in and my anxiety is now through the roof I'm always waking up with anxiety attacks I have to rush to the window or door to get fresh air like more oxygen and rush to get drink of water and my heart will be pounding its taken over my life also got this pain in my left shoulder blade to like a aching tingling feeling and sometimes a little stabby poking feeling there to had that for couple years now but never get it on my right shoulder blade get pains all over my body pressure in the back of my head chest pain palpitations the list just goes on I tried amatriptaline but just made my chest pains worse and makes you super tired so then tried pregabalin but that made my headache 10x worse so then doctor put me on topiramate for my headache and it doesn't really help much at all but I've carried on taking it because it doesn't have any side effects like the others I mensioned ... Just subscribed mate
You just know when someone has felt the same as you by how they describe it. We can do this my friend.
@@averagejohn9680 your stronger than you think you are mate I've just bought a new mountain bike feel a bit better if I'm riding through woods off road on bike that helps a bit when I've got the energy for it... Keep doing the videos 👍
@CoreyLad-yf7tq I love been out on my bike, takes it all away.
@@averagejohn9680 definitely helps a lot doesn't it keep doing what you are doing boss we got this 👍
Feel for you I really do. My son has them this bad it's destroying.
It's horrible but I'm trying my best to keep going for my children.
@@averagejohn9680 my son also has children and he tries too but the anxiety can be so bad sometimes it dibilatating. He's had setraline that helped for a while he's on another med now so see how it goes. Doctors will not give anything that's addictive even tho it would help people. I've have many arguments about his meds with them. Hope you a feeling somewhat OK today.
I also had panic attacks very bad. Got fluoxotine and things improved.
@@AdriaanNothnagel what is fluoxotine?
@@averagejohn9680 it is the active substance in Prozac. Go and see a psychiatrist. He/she will prescribe medication for your anxiety, IBS and insomnia.
It’s terrible! Feel like you need to go to the hospital, but like you say it’ll pass. You’re not alone… we’re not alone! Peace be with you my friend.
You seem to be doing pretty damn good through these attacks even though I'm sure you don't think you are at the time. When I'm in a full on panic attack, I can't even work my phone because of the shaking and not being able to think straight. I'm too busy thinking about my breathing pattern and my heart rate. And the fact that you can sit in a chair and talk about it, that's pretty amazing. All I can do is pace back and forth in my room a hundred times. My whole body feels like I need to escape. You've obviously improved quite a bit and should be proud of yourself for these small yet actually giant steps. Hope you get some sleep and you wake up in the morning feeling much better. You're a warrior for sure homie. Keep us posted 🤙🏻
@SNIPES936 I used to pace up and down, it used to be so much worse. I am going in the right direction I know. Still awake now, everytime I fall asleep I seem to jerk awake in a panic.
Anxiety is a vicious cycle of misery.
Well done for stepping out of your comfort zone. Positive reinforcement is key. I’m exactly the same mate.
The more I think positive the more I move forward. Good luck with your journey my friend
Thanks for making these videos. It helps a lot just talking about these problems. I appreciate it.
Glad I'm helping people. Stay strong
How's your blood pressure and do you check it throughout the day?
No don't monitor it, I heard it was a bad idea.
@@averagejohn9680 So you have no idea if it's good or bad? Could be causing the tension and headaches. Might want to at least check it periodically.
@@SNIPES936 I know it's ok, that's all I want to know. Don't want to fixate on it like many others have. I heard checking it all the time is bad..
@@averagejohn9680 That's good. My blood pressure is terrible. I take the highest dose of a certain BP med and my shit will still get high from time to time. I gotta check it daily cause that's what the cardiologist suggested
