    I bought and made many hardly any worked like i hoped the last was a green no mess feeder but there was food everywhere. So i put clear pvc curtain over it with holes hopefully works

    Hey there south of sanity farms. When testing my soaps such as playing around with ratios I use a mini cupcake holder and add different combos to each department then separate the mini soaps

    How do you get them in and out of the tractor, they will certainly run to the other end when you try :)

      @@jerryhicks8011 one end has boards that we can remove. Then we have a piece of wood that is roughly the shape of the interior that we put on a pole and push them to the other end. Without that it would be a pain to get them out to harvest.

    Hi from Panama (C.A)!. Great tips... I have a hard time getting essential oils from Amazon and similar venues. If you could, please share your oils providers; I pay $8-$10 for just 2 oz here. Thanks.

      @@mariellegarcia5401 check out wfmed.com and new direction aromatics.com. I shop between those 2 depending on who has the better price for the eo that I am buying. I buy my EO in the 33 oz aluminum container and then transfer it to my amber bottles when it arrives. If you can buy it in the larger sizes it will bring it down considerably. Thanks and good luck

    You hit the nail on the head there, i never understand all the soap makers putting non dissolvable things on top that will clog the drain. Like coffee grounds, bees wax and glitter???

      @@christinemclean9973 it's mostly all just for looks. But I have seen people out there that would rather buy a gimmicky looking soap over a quality soap. There's a market for both. I just prefer to make what I believe in.

    How do you know the amounts of everything that is put on the soap?

      @@erandeniherrera7811 I use a lye calculator to figure the exact amounts. There are several free ones out there that are easy to use. We have another soap making video that shares that info along with every brand product I use and who has the best prices along with a recipe.

    Why do you use that particular mixture of fats and oils?

      Several factors went in to selecting these oils. It was a lot of trial and error finding a bar that cleans, lathers, moisturizes, and lasts a while. But also, what oils are more easily available and the cost of them factors in as well so that my prices can be competitive too.

      I did make my own. I've had a few others mention the boxes. Nurturesoap.com sells boxes with their molds. If interested, I can do a video on how to build one. It's pretty simple.

    How much Fragrance need per gm oil? Which fragrance better for goat milk soap?

      Not sure what it is in grams but I use about 1 oz of essential oil per 25 oz of oils. And that varies based on different essential oils. We don't use any fragrance oils so not sure how much you would use of those.

    How does the milk not scorch since it's over 100. When I keep it under 100 I get internal soda ash but over 100 scorches with goat milk

      I don't get scorched milk unless it gets over 130. Maybe even 140. How many batches have you made? Any chance your thermometer could be faulty? Some of my batches get a little soda ash on the tops but it just gives them a frosty look and after the first use it's gone so I don't worry about it. Wish I could be of more help.

    I got one mynah bird, age 1 years. Hitted by two other mynah birds on head very hardly. few hair on head was gone. and falldown with no energy. it was with me last 8 days First day it was little weak , the next day it become normal. I kept in a room and it was flying from window to window continusly from last 3 days. and make some noise also. Can I leave the bird now where i got it. or i should keep few more days with me. It is single leg Myna . Pl rply

      It gives the soap some color, can make the soap a little exfoliating, and helps retain the essential oil scent.

      I use a food grade lye from essential depot. I have been using their lye for a while and it has always been great. There is actually another video on our channel where I make some lavender goat milk soap and share every detail of where we purchase our materials. Hope you can check it out

    Technically mares can reduces the size of the fetus to their anatomy, there were experiments made showing that you could breed a small horse mare with a big horse and the foal would at first be small enough for the mare to foal without problems and then the foal would grow as big as if you would breed a mare from the same big horse breed with a stallion from the same small horse breed.

      I bought the soap cutter from brambleberry.com. It has held up well over the years. Their replacement strings are high priced but Amazon has some for that are much cheaper.

    Oh, how I miss my goats. They are the best friends ever on the homestead. I also had a white LaMancha, her name was Thumbelina. Best milk ever.

      Our lamancha, Vanilla, is our sweetest goat. We are so glad she gave us a doeling this year. Her name is Puddin and just as sweet as her momma

    I have a question, I have two oak wooden boxes I’ve made for making my soap. I just line them with parchment paper and pour in my batches. I would absolutely LOVE to have the set up you have with the silicone molds and wooden box. I heard where you got the molds. I missed where you got the wooden box they’re sitting in. Did you make it or order it? If you made it, I would love to buy one from you. Thanks for sharing everything with us!

      Yes I made the box myself. That same company where I buy my molds sells boxes too. I just used some scrap wood that I had in the workshop and some recycled hinges, nothing too pretty but functional. I'm not sure if what I made is worthy of selling but I'd be more than happy to go over how i built them if that is something you want to tackle yourself to save some money.       Sadly the broodyness has been all but bred out of quail, it's very rare you get a hen that goes broody. You may be able to get a chicken to hatch them though.
