FJ55 on the Summitville Ghost Town Trail, Colorado
hey mate, just wondering if this is on stock chasis or maybe a 80??
@@Moon_Prod It is the original FJ55 chassis.
Beautiful place! Love Colorado wheelin! Best wishes, Robert
The historical notes are cool
Beautiful Summer Snow! Bummer that the pass is blocked. Was that a surprise?
@@debreno7734 Not really a surprise. The website said it was closed and so did the sign at the bottom, but it was still a fun drive.
I haven't been there in over 50 years ...
She's a beauty!
the music just NO Let us hear the terrain
Nice bro beautiful car
❤❤❤
The Little Jessie mine is where the road crosses the creek.
Great trip for the Iron Pig…
❤
Great place to go in the fall!

Beautiful area! Happy New Year!
Great collection!
Great place to wheel to!
Beautiful
Love the song.❤
For the rigs with SOA, what parts/components did y’all use? I have an iron pig and I want to do a SOA lift and want to see what other people are doing.
No two of those are the same. Best thing to do is go to www.ih8mud.com and go to the forum page. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see the FJ55 section. There are many build threads on there. Ask questions, take notes, and post what you are doing with yours. They are a bunch of great guys on there.
such a w for u man hello from bolivia
Que belleza de lugar para disfrutar FJ 55 ♥️
Out there by your lonesome? Something wonderful to be said about that. I thought about buying property out there. Looks like home to me. Thanks brother for sharing. It is truly inspiring
The root of kokapelli is "coca". I suspect he was peddling tea leaves from Columbia.
You wouldn't have many neighbors living out there. I only saw one other vehicle on the trail and I think he was just as surprised to see me.

Here is the same rock in the other direction. ua-cam.com/users/shortsSMbk2jirTSw?si=xTwwWhzDg9miCdUh
That's a fun Land Cruiser road. Wish I'd known you were here.
What a great trip! Thanks Craig!
Love Mosquito Pass! I used to do it in my FJ40 but with that long gone I do it in my FJ Cruiser! #Leadville #Mining
Living the dream! Last time I was there was in a Toyota pickup only a couple years newer than the 55. It was new then and I still got it.
That is awesome, hold on to it for sure! I have an 85 4runner and 85 truck, but I like taking the 55 out the best.
This little piggy gracefully made it look easy
My palms are sweating...
Bad. Ass.
My buddy did that rock wall with no brakes in a manual pickup 😅
It's usually covered in gravel, so it sounds like he did it right without brakes. Could go wrong if the rear locks up.
The Chuck Norris of offroad vehicles!
Love it!
Looking good!
Very cool! I’ve visited many Colorado ghost towns.
Very nice! I really love that area!
That sky is so amazing. This looks like a movie set!
In the '50s it was the only road over and a bear of a trip in the winter...!
I'm needing a longer pause on the FJ...😉
Yeah seriously! :)
Great old FJ, to few around now; but what is creating that engine-knock?
Great to see the '55 still out there doing it
It has done it for the last 49 years, no reason to stop now.
Great scene!
Love the historical info about the pass, the town, the fire. Thanks for the ride!
Delightful to have summer and access to lots of cool places!
Seen this on modern warfare 2
Tetons?
