Glad that you found Young Posse (and vibed with it 🤣🤣) Their debut track Macaroni Cheese was in October 23; Young Posse Up is another track from their debut mini album. First comeback was with XXL (name of the title track as well as the second mini album). The MV for XXL is a Must Watch - trust me on this. What really got them into my girl group A-Tier however are the B-sides from XXL. Different styles from afrobeats- to drum 'n' bass -influenced, the singers rap, the rappers sing, no skips. Amazing, strong contender for my AOTY. Bonus: they write the majority of their lyrics themselves ... mostly Sunhye, the leader (the short-haired one), but all girls get their hand in this as well. Of those B-sides, by now there is a also a MV for ROTY available, and a performance video for Scars. But even with the two tracks with only a color coded lyrics video (DND and Skyline), please react to those as well. Other recommendations (and all are great!) The cover medley (Rubber Duck, Too Much, Heat) on the blip channel. For a live vocals version of XXL, try the one on the Dingo Freestyle channel. Thank you for spoiling us with these marathons <3 OT5 Japanese ballads were on another level and it's as if they're a completely separate group from the K-pop TVXQ 🤣🤣 I'm not sure if newer groups do this separate discography/genre thing nowadays but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't because K-pop has already been accepted in Japan. Back then TVXQ had to somehow break into the Japanese market so they just adapted by making music that is more catered to the Japanese audience's tastes. And I do think they could do anything from aggressive songs to fun pop songs to delicate ballads. It's such a joy to see you enjoy their versatility too! I'm looking forward to the 4th marathon!

thank you for your reactions! i enjoy them. it’s interesting that you said that you have a background in music. did you sing professionally or take vocal lessons? i’d say that tvxq set the standard high even for 2nd gen groups at the time. to me they’re more like artists than idols. there are a lot of idols nowadays that can sing well, too, but they don’t have the expressiveness and ad-libs that tvxq can do. to me they really embody the lyrics of the music rather than just sounding pleasant. 9095 was actually a song composed by jaejoong, and 9095 was tvxq's artist ID on naver's music site at the time. you recognized the music in tri-angle bc they sampled mozart’s symphony #40, a piece of music that is used in a lot of media. and you’re right that they were inspired by final fantasy lol for some more songs there’s more emotional ones like hey! girl, always there, thanks to, i believe, whatever they say, i'll be there, don’t forget (wasurenaide), doushite (why did i fall in love?), taxi, and eternal. and then more upbeat ones like crazy love, no!, trick, last angel, ride on, rainbow, zion, and o jung ban hap

Thanks for the marathon. It was a fun time. The lyrics to "stand by u" always make me feel like this is how I feel about dbsk. 😢 It's ironic that this is the last song they sang as five. I like this song very much. Everything about her is wonderful. There were many “legends” about 9095, so to speak. Something like such a mysterious song and no one still knows what this song is about. There are some theories though. It seems (I could be wrong. It was a long time ago) that Jaejoong once said that this song was the key to his heart or something. In short, 9095 is the identifier/address of the DBSK page on Naver music (vibe). It's still 9095 for them. I fell in love with this track immediately when I first heard it. Btw, I could never call them a dance group. Although many fans, of course, say that this group was good at everything. But still, for me their dancing was not so good and sometimes strange. Ahah Although duet is a different matter. I hope that you will still listen to songs like: farewell ah and all in vain. The first incredibly beautiful song. And this is the song that fans were able to hear only many years after the split (Thanks to a miracle). She's truly beautiful. And thank you again for the pleasant time that I was able to spend here with my favorite group and a very cute reactionary. I've never listened to kpop and I still don't listen to any of it.
