@@sarbeshwarbaishya2640 thanks for the wonderful comment! The animation was roughed out using an app called ‘Rough Animator’ as it allows me to work on an iPad away from my desk. Then the inking and colour of the animation was done in Toonboom Harmony. Backgrounds were created in photoshop. Animation and backgrounds were then put together along with colour adjustments and visual effects in After Effects.

@@IllustratorGurus_4U thanks bud. For these animations I set the animation project to 24 frames per second. Then I animate mainly on 2’s (meaning every drawing is displayed for 2 frames) but alternate to 1’s (every drawing is displayed for 1 frame) when the action speeds up and requires more drawings for smoother movement.

@@geoartifex these cartoons took about 4 weeks each. So a week for script, storyboard, voice recording and animatic.a week of character design, background design and creation. 2 weeks of animating and a day of compositing and editing.

@@geoartifex no worries bud. Animation can be very time consuming BUT it doesn’t have to be, depending on quality of art and animation you can drastically reduce production times. I’m working on a video at present that covers this topic in which I will show how I plan a project to make fast animation.

The app I used to create the hand drawn animation is Rough Animator. www.roughanimator.com But there are plenty of other animation softwares that can produce hand drawn animation. So it’s really all a matter of preference.

@@saddamlooni1341 Toonboom Harmony, TV Paint, Adobe Animate all allow hand drawn animation. Blender also allows hand drawn animation but I’ve never really use it for that as yet so can’t recommend. Additionally it can be done in Photoshop and Clip paint studio but these aren’t dedicated animation softwares BUT digital illustration softwares that have SOME animation features.

But if you are a newbie to animation and are trying it out. I would strongly recommend Rough Animator app. As it’s really cheap but has everything you need to animate.

@@Sunji.Hossain it kind of varies really as it all depends on the style of the art and the quality of the animation. You also have to bear in mind the other tasks as well. The story for the film will need writing, storyboard and animatics need creating. All art will need designing. Then after animation you gonna need to composite and edit. But to answer your question, in this style featured in this video I as a solo animator could proberbly make a 3 minute video in 3 to 4 months. This question is very common and I have already began making videos that will cover different animation styles (simple to detailed art and animation) and recording how long each production takes to make.

Lot of stuff I have had to deal with over past 2 years which have soaked up my freetime. Got a new job with another gaming studio, relocated myself and my family further up the map. Just busy busy busy but things are beginning to relax now and I aim to start making more content for my channels.

I've been meaning to have a play again with Adobe Animate as I aint really used it for a while now and I have been wondering how its aged, back in the day it was my software of choice between 2004 to 2011

@@UMATOR1 for this cartoon I roughed out the animation using the app ‘Rough Animator’. Then I created the final art/ animation using ‘Toonboom Harmony’. Background art was created in Photoshop. Once done all animations and art were composited in After effects. That’s it :)
