At 0:47 your infographic states that this is a 2-4 HOUR hike... might want to fix that.

Might not want to encourage people to climb the chimney... people die on that all the time

I did this in shorts, shirt, and flip flops in about 50 minutes at 50 y.o. I would say don't dress warm. This hike is a work out, and you will get hot and sweaty even on a cool / cold day. For me, half way up the top and I went shirtless, as I was sweating up a storm.

Nice video. Hope you got the proper permission to fly your drone in the park though.

The microspikes you show at 1:37 don't have any teeth, it is not advised to use those types of microspikes. Ones with 2 cm teeth are far more effective at hiking on hard pack and ice.

What program are you using for your map animations with the dotted red lines?

If you are going to make an informational video pointing out things like "missing the switchback" show a top down on the map then show an actual shot of the hike where the switch back is.

Thank you so much for this comprehensive guide to safety along the HSCT. I've been wanting to do this trail for a long time, but have been curious about the West Lion traverse and reliable water sources along the trail. Well put together video w all the info I have been looking for.

Need multi years of hiking experience to finish this trail and scrambling, I am a solo hiker for over 10 years, never twisted knees or ankles, the more you hiking the less chance you get injured. Just need common sense you can avoid most of hazard may render upon you.

Just did this hike, but we started from Cheakamus, camping at Helm Creek. Mosquitoes were horrific, views were terrific.

Is there any alternative camping spots prior to magnesia meadows? I read a blog that suggests somewhere before the west lion, but I don't recall this video mentioning anything. I'm planning a 2 night stay on the trail with my second night at Brunswick lake. Any recommendations?

Great video in a location that keep producing SAR calls. It would be nice to see the hikers using ski /hike poles in difficult sections.

Starting from West Canyon trail is very old information before they built the new bridge on East Canyon Trail across Gold Creek. Starting at Gold Canyon parking lot and taking East Canyon Trail is much shorter and easier.

You guys should do Evans Peak. The first rope especially with Ice/Snow up top is super sketchy/risky.
