the hype for this at the time was huge. i remember reading each month as the Rowlands brothers were writing devlogs in Zzap/Commodore Format. I never liked the game, even though its excellent from a technical perspective.

I had this on the Vic20. While it’s a clever idea it always felt like I was playing a weird interactive maths quiz.

Archon was one of my favorite games on the C64. Played it a lot against friends when I was a kid. I still think that Archon II: Adept was the better game compared to the original one because it just allowed for more strategic depth and had more interesting and diverse game mechanics - although it probably never gained the popularity of the first game.

I remember playing this game on the Apple //e, this game was dope!

They literally took this design for this arcade case and turned it into a modern gaming console cuz I own one that's crazy that they took something as old as this and repurposed the look for it into something else many years later.

The killer app for every standard joy-stick. Fantastic game.

At one stage we were so well-trained that it was only about the time needed to get through.

I loved this back in the day ( Being old is shite) but I had to steal my brother 64 just to play these games as he was a cu**. Then I got my Imiga 1200 :D Got any of that ?

at 4:40 Oh, I sure hope that tank up there doesn't notice me...ohhhh c4ap! I had no idea Beach-Head was on C64! I only ever played the version on Win95 which was more like the arcade game. Also, Operation Blockade, which came out much later was really quite good for a low budget game in this genre.

Great game i like to play it back in the days. Hangar was problematic to get out but when you learn how to do it its easy.

After many decades this game is relevant once again 😁 I recently was trying to play mine on Atari 800 XE, it was so hard I had to hack it 🤪

Used to have this on the speccy in glorious ‘4 colour-o-vision’. Used to think this game was so hard. I think I only completely it twice.
