Great hunt man! Stacking meat in the freezer is always a good feeling. Congrats on both you and your ole man doubling up on some fat does! I wish we had the amount of does on our property to do what yall do but this season is SLOW. Good luck guys!

Fun fact: deer swim regularly, but we rarely see it. Same way with them eating baby birds/eggs and eating their own velvet as it sheds. Its also illegal to shoot a deer standing in water in VA.

You should of tried more brands instead of just limiting yourself to 2. Might be surprised that there are bows equal to or better than anything that says Mathews or Hoyt on the limbs.

350g arrow is a real light arrow man. If you have penetration issues, get a heavier arrow. I’m not sure how lightening your arrow increases accuracy but your arrow spine may have been off. Good luck this season!

I’m currently shooting a v3 after selling a hoyt rx. I feel that the Mathew’s are heavy but they are easier to be accurate because of it. Both are Amazing companies and are all overpriced just like the rest of them. They all have hit a plateau so we are paying for gimmicky upgrades at this point. I used to buy a new bow every year but guns are a smarter investment as bows have severe diminishing returns like a vehicle.

Only correct answer is if it makes you happy then yes. Its only money
