I recently did the super and I’m motivated to do the beast then ultra next.

Last time I did a Spartan race was when I was in third grade doing the kids race. One of my friends asked if I wanted to do a super and I was like sure. I’m going to this exact spot tomorrow to run it. I’m really excited

Are there any particular shoes that you need for this race or normal running shoes would do?

Please dont let Hunter commentate again. He doesn't know the athletes, he talks over the other commentator, he talks about himself, he spouts drivel, he criticises yhe athletes fornot going as fast as he wants them to. Please. Not again.

Thank you for the race coverage and to all the rabbits! I couldn't deliver an amazing performance 😅 I was still very sore and hurt from racing the Beast the day before. I went all in and got a 2nd place overall Female podium for that event. I didn't sleep enough either, so it is what it is! I'm glad I could make it a bit into the coverage. Amazing to see everyone push hard😊

Doing the 5K this July. My first ever Spartan race, training for it now with high endurance training.

For the 2 hour school, what is the age limit on it?

The athlete introduction was really short shrifted. This is the part we need to get invested in the race, much more so than the weather forecast (which is also worth mention).

Veejay's misogynistic comments about "getting chicked" were pretty disappointing.

This is a marathon with upper body exercises thrown in.

Audio is terrible. Commentators sound like they're in a tin can.

Jessica physically did 20 reps, but if she got DQ'd for only doing 19, that means DEKA didn't count her final rep because she threw the RAM, which in my opinion, based on the rules, was 100% the correct call.

I thought Mark placed the RAM down just fine. He definitely wasn't locking out his arms on quite a few reps, but I don't think DEKA is penalizing for that after the fact. The video shows all of his reps. I counted them. He only did 19, even counting the ones he didn't lock out.
