2025 Note: My apologies for the shoddy sound and lack of crispness, I was using a video editor that was limiting, but I will be re-rendering this video and reposting sometime this year...
It's NOT a perkUlator... it's a perkOlator. Look up the spelling and the pronunciation. It's pronounced perk o la tor.
Peter Piper... I looked over the spelling, it is spelled correctly and for the most part it is spoken correctly, but if this is all you have to comment on, well, then you've missed the entire reason for the review...
How to drain
Hi... Not sure if that's a question, but when you hook up to the sink it will drain into the sink which don't have anything in sink as it's quite powerful... I've also added chapters to the video so that you can watch where you want to... if anything more please let me know. :)
I will check for formaldehyde also now as my skin is still suffering, thanks. I know what you mean with the residue from the laundry products. I have to wash my clothes after staying at other's houses as it sticks to my clothes as if I had washed them with their laundry products!
Hi, thank you for sharing. It's difficult when you're around people who don't have a clue of how this feels, sometimes they think your either crazy or over reactive but as time goes on more people are having this problem... So if you want you can always send those people to this playlist to see the comments of me and others as you are not alone... The good news is my research is leading me into theories of how this came to be for me, which I'll be posting as soon as I can, but for now I can tell you I think why I was triggered with this was due to a combination, of a massive Vitamin D defeciency, of a lack of nutrition overall, having huge courses of antibiotics, taking contraceptives, plus, having a yeast infection called Tinea Versicolor, and then finally coming into contact with a formaldehyde ingredient which was in a particular laundry detergent that I was trying... I think my body just said, wow, this stuff is awful and we don't want her near it... I also believe this "warnings" are located in my sinuses... I was sick and couldn't breath through my nose and noticed I didn't have any reactions... then when I got better they came back... So I'm wondering if you would share more with us about the details of when you feel this senstivity started for you... PS: Whenever I'm out and sit somewhere I change and shower right away and put those clothes in a separate bin... then I vaccum them and clean separately, using just the baking soda and a bit of distilled vinegar --- which really reduces exposure the formaldehye to get onto other clothing...
Hi, I have had a long journey with allergies and chronic fatigue since childhood ( asthma, allergies, hayfever) I've removed as much chemicals, mainly in the form of perfumes, from my products that I use. For me it is toluene that has caused my issues since peri menopause. So I managed to heal my asthma and hay fever, but still had skin issues and weight gain and chronic fatigue, hair loss etc. I now know that petroleum fumes have contributed yo my menopausal symptoms and toluene is in EVERYTHING. Especially hair dyes and nail polish and makeup. It's a huge endocrine disruptor. I would suggest getting or making some liposomal vitamin c liquid and mega dosing it to get tissues saturation ( 1000 mgs every 2.5 HOURS) Until you get relief. It counteracts the oxidation of your cells that these chemicals cause which is killing your cells quicker than your body can replace them. I think liver damage from long term pharmaceutical use, especially antibiotics, pain killers and anti inflammatories to treat UTI'S and menses pain which I used to get every 3 weeks. This damaged my kidneys also. Been detoxing with wormwood and black walnut extract and using a parasite zapper but only really got my energy back with the vitamin c in the last week. It is an electron issue at the cell level.. Some people are more sensitive to energy like yourself and I. I have a heightened sense of smell for harmful oxidising perfumes. Yours is touch with formaldehyde. We are like canaries in the coal mine. No one is listening unfortunately 😔
Hello 1dayfree, I'm so sorry I didn't comment on your message sooner... and yes, I am listening and so will my views so thank you so much for sharing... I truly believe a lot of mental health issues and impulses come from these chemicals that are being used in everything, sitting on your skin and in your body and the body has to work double time to remove them, which if they can't it then gets into you fat cell... But I think this issue is also mixed with a lack of nutrition... It's so important to get your proteins - Some other things to try, to drink using glasses, ceramic dishes, bamboo cutting board, in other words try to remove the plastics... and also don't forget garlic, which is a great detoxifier... I mix about 1/2 to 1/2 ts with 1 TBL veg protein and I freeze my spinach with water and use 3 cubes in each serving at least 3 x's a week, but I'm amping the garlic up due to an issue with neighbor who sanded down his garage and exposed me to some VOC's including potential lead... also mix your vitamin C with Quercitin... but take baby steps, I only take 2 grams of each but it helps -- plus vitamin D and get some probiotics in too... you can get from organic sauer kraut... also please let me know how it's going...
Sept 2024 Update: 10 years ago I adopted a cat from the humane society, I was also suffering (unknowningly) from a major D deficiency, but then I used a popular laundry detergent that had formaldehyde in it... this is what I believe triggered my chemical sensitities, having this fungal infection and getting too exposed to formaldehyde in the laundry detergent... I also have been trying to figure this out for a decade and only figure this out about 2 months ago, since then my Dr. DX'd and prescribed me with Ketoconazole 2% shampoo and cream... I actually lather the shampoo with water and lather my skin, then jump in the shower, clean and rinse and mix the cream with water... It is helping but it's long going... PS: There are also other home remedies I'll try and will be talking about this topic soon in new videso, posting more about this condition and what I'm doing within the next few weeks and very important could I be right??? Could the combination of the fungal infection and deficiency have triggered my sensitivity when I was over exposed to formaldehyde? And even more interesting, could this be why other people get sensitities... maybe even allergies??? If you read this and have found you have the similar issues, please share in the comments below... and thank you so much for subscribing, liking and sharing my vid's... :)
You can just use vinegar
Hi. Thanks for the comment! I woulnd't use full strenght or even distilled vinegar full strength... Vinegar's really acidic -- it already ruined one of my spray bottles... so if anything I'd dilute..
2024 update: I found the manual on line - Here is LINK: pdf.lowes.com/productdocuments/77d6528c-f263-437c-9ca9-2a1e82f0bd7a/42521159.pdf -- You can find details about how much water it takes for whatever cycle you choose on page 5 of the manual (11 of the PDF). Also, the dishwasher sill works great. I did have people tell me to turn hot water which is also in the manual but I tested the water degress with cold and hot and for me it made no real difference... (I'll try to make a video about that when I can). Also, I see other people are using vinegar as a finishing rinse... I wouldn't recommend that, it's highly acidic and could potential degrade or melt the plastic/rubber hosing...
I pay for water, do it take a lot of water
It all depends on what cycle you use. Here's a link to the manual... on page 5 you'll find all the details, which is page 11 of the pdf file... pdf.lowes.com/productdocuments/77d6528c-f263-437c-9ca9-2a1e82f0bd7a/42521159.pdf
never worked for me
Hi, sorry to hear... When you do a reset do you see a smiley face? If you do, the chances are your settings - settings (for display) are set to "dim" but maybe you need to do a different series of swipes to get to the settings menu...? You can try to go to 15:16 of the video, follow along and make a diargram of your phone based on your own "phone ap" -- make sure to make a template menu for your actual device. For instance swipe 1 time, then "pretend" your settings are at the top and follow what I do... if that doesn't work do it again and "pretend" the setting's is on the bottom... if that doesn't work, then swipe 2 times and try it again and so on and so forth... I hope that helps...
Hey Miss Lisa! Good stuff! I have this vac and want to attempt the hose extension. Do you know the circumference of the extra hose you picked up? Or was it just the basic size you found in the store? Apparently most vac attachments will fit onto a standard size 1 1/4 vac nozzel...but Bissell doesn't conform to that size. 😟 💩💩. Thanks for the great idea! If you know the size, please post!! 🤘❤🔥
Well hi, and thank you so much for your comment! I bought the hose at Menards, it's 1.25" in diameter. I would liked to have it black but couldn't find a black hose at the store, however you could probably find one on line but here's the link for the one I bought... www.menards.com/main/outdoors/pools-accessories/flowclear-trade-1-25-replacement-hose/58781e/p-1642874269059662-c-10137.htm?exp=false
Hi rnpeg1, been using my vac a lot... just wondering how it went... if you can't find one that fits you could probably downsize, on the connection side of the extender hose create a thickness with duct tape almost to original hose, then put that inside the original hose, you want the debris to go in... then duct tape together... that might work. Let us know.
Thank you! It was a great help
Glad it helped!
Good job!
Thanks!
2024 UPDATE and WARNING: PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DO THIS OUTSIDE AND USE A MASK, STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE WHEN SPRITZING THE CLOTHING AS DISTILLED VINEGAR CAN BURN YOUR LUNGS! I'll be making a vid on this but I found if you take your items outside, hang them on hangers inside out and sprits down with distilled vinegar (please wear protective eye, nose and mask for this), then you let it dry... do this 3 more times. Then turn right side out and do the process again it takes a lot more chemicals out... I stumbled on this as I was trying to remove some smell from flea market clothing and this is supposedly a DIY dry cleaning at home technique. Never had tried it as I'd always sprayed and immediately put in washer but letting it try helps -- PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DO THIS OUTSIDE AND USE A MASK, STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE WHEN SPRITZING THE CLOTHING AS DISTILLED VINEGAR CAN BURN YOUR LUNGS! I'll make a video on this but wanted to post... for those of you that buy things such as couches, this might also work...
You did great
Thank you... :)

To go to QUICK FIX go to 18:15 to the STEP BY STEP and I walk you through it quickly... For those of you who this helps please hit the like - thank you :) 2024 Update: Since this vid I've accidentally had it on dim again several times -- I think I'm somehow accidentally hitting the quick dim on, but no matter, if I follow the directions and go to the settings display, that seems the only way to toggle the light back on...
I bought the newer model a month ago, and already had to take it apart. I had 2 for over 5 years, ans if i watched Yt before i threw them out. Anyways i had to take apart the new one today. Used it 2 timesand already not working again.
I'm sorry to hear that. After use I always take the bottle out of the chamber to store, I think that's helped. I'm sure you have, but did you check batteries to make sure they're good and make sure the battery leads are connecting with your batteries? Here's link to a vid I made on the subject: ua-cam.com/video/sjLQ32Fy_So/v-deo.html
I did the brightness setting but still not bright enough
Hi - I'm sorry this isn't working for you, here are 3 things you could try: 1. It might be your Fitbit C3 doesn't have the same amount of gallery apps as mine has. I would go to the device navigation at 12:18 and watch that through, I'd also write your info down on paper so you have for future reference. 2. Did you see any brightness at all? I'd run through resetting the device again first before trying because if you don't "see" the smiley face light up it could mean unfortunately the issue is the device and not because of the dim setting. The notes on how to reset are in the description. 3. And finally once you get to the settings / brightness menu try to tap several times to get to the right setting. On paper it looks like this: Settings/ Brightness: Dim - Normal - Auto and then rotates back to Dim to go through the cycle again, so try to tap a couple times until you get the right lighting. For reference go to 18:15 in the video... Sorry but that's about all I can suggest. Please let us know if it works for you...
You have a real gift for personal insight. It's inspiring to see that you've worked through so much, yet still continue your march to inform and empower victims.
Thank you. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kind words. My only ask is to please share the video with others -- I'm hoping this message gets to those who need to hear it to know they are never alone and they are loved... :)
Thanks very much, I recognize so much of what you talk about. Recently bought a 300 euro ecological coat in natural wool (GOTS). Immediately after putting it on, I felt discomfort in my throat, very shortly after I started getting a bad taste in my mouth. After half an hour, I had to throw it far away from me, started feeling very bad and slight headache. Must be the blue paint. It's been in the washing machine a number of times without any real effect. Actually thinking of putting it in the river overnight to have water stream through, becauwe in the machine, it stays tumbling around in its own contaminated water and only gets fresh water once or twice. Do you happen to have any more advice? What a challenge it is, the combination of MCS and PTSD. I know about it. And am also blessed with EHS...
Thank you for sharing your experience, which unfortunately is happening to many people... The smell and reaction could be from the dye, or the chemical finishing that's being put into the dying process, which in each of my videos I have links about, or, you can look up chemical finishing in clothing and find many videos on the subject... For a coat you could try to "off gas" which means hang it outside but that might take a really long time -- so with that if you have an enclosed porch that's safe you could hang it up blow a fan that might help, this of course is at your own risk, and a fan is a bit dangerous outside but I would not suggest to do indoors -- you'll be blowing all that finishing around your home -- but it's up to you. Or just try what I do, just watch the playlist as it's too much to go into here but understand my process does break down the integrity of the cloth to a degree. This issue is what I call a catch-22... Most of the chemicals I've researched so far are due to people wanting brighter, stiffer fabrics and to make items out of plastic instead of cotton or wool as suppliers can't keep up, or it's cheaper that way, but I also suspect it's to protect it from coming across the ocean so it doesn't mildew. So... that being said, try to find a different area to purchase???? Finally maybe you could go to a store in your area where the new items have been hanging for a bit and "smell" the fabric before buying... Sorry that's all I've got for now, but I will have more in future videos of how to identify and track this issue. In the meantime, please let us know what happens and thank you again for sharing!
I purchased new pjs at Victoria secret. When I received them in the mail the smell is so strong. I’ve washed twice now and they still smell
Hi... so sorry to hear but so glad you found my channel... In the first few videos in this playlist (Chemical Awareness) I share how I treat and wash clothing to remove those chemicals... The thing is I use HOT water, this is a decision you must make to do as some clothes do not recommend and it can bleed out color, but you could try cold first to see if it remove... Whatever you try, if it works could you please post in reply if it works. Thank you!
how long is one wash cycle?
It depends on which setting you select which the longest is 1 hour 50 minutes to shortest being 10 minutes... but I'll put that information into the description so just refresh/reload video... Thank you for asking!
Thanks, I had the same problem with the HDMI when I first set it up.

Thank you for your comment. For me, I suffer from being abused when younger and was traumatized by sexual abuse with someone taking photos. Due to this experience I suffer from major C-PTSD whenever I film anything and so I end up doing what I call "scattering"... "ahs', "ums", "you knows" and a lot repeating or backtracking. But I don't let that stop me -- I've posted many videos because my goal is really to share with others to help spread awareness, but now I'm in process of editing all the videos on my channel to take that stuff out and was in process of editing this video in particular when you commented -- which it is now edited for better viewing... But yes, Borax does seem to help remove the formalin smell and resin from most of the clothing type materials. For some of the new age materials though they are now adding the formalin (or chemical finishing of different chemicals) right into the recipe of the dies and chemicals so I stay clear of polyfibers and things like that. I also never combine Borax with Ammonia or any of those types of chemicals together while pre-soaking and I make sure to thoroughly rinse them out --- then I add hot water again and add my baking soda and distilled vinegar to the water directly on top of the clothing... it will fizzle which to me seems to help create a cleaning action but that's also carbon dioxide so be very careful not to use too much and don't be above the machine... stay well ventilated and even where eye protection and don't let it get on your skin, etc. If most people looked at warnings on laundry detergents that might alert them to the types of chemicals that are in them... But even with what I use which is very limited always be mindful and follow directions on packages... Thank you again for your comment! Please like, subscribe and share... :)

Exact screwdriver I'm using on my swiffer 😂 love Milwaukee products!
Thanks for the comment... Good choice!
Thank you for sharing this invaluable information Lisa!
You are so welcome!
You are a hero thank you for posting this. We are suffering from formaldehyde poisoning and there’s no support anywhere, except here
Thank you... if you're having very bad reactions (poisonous) please reach out for medical help asap, but otherwise hopefully my chemical awareness playlist helps you and bring awareness to those others who don't know how these awful sensitivities feel like. The playlist videos are lined up one at a time of what I try to do to protect myself, I hope they help.
Hi Lisa, my partner and I were wondering if you could tell us how you went from just having redactions and being surrounded by this stuff to your current well thought out living strategies. Ie what was your first step and subsequent steps as we would really like a good nights sleep and it seems to be everywhere
Thanks for the ask, I'm a child abuse survivor and advocate coach, I have a theory on how violation works called The Dynamics of Abuse playlist, and also another called Therapies for a Better Me which shares how I created my first playbook plan to help me deal with the issues I have... So I'm just using that method here... I've got another vid coming out called Chemical Awareness Master Class within the next couple of weeks but for now though you can watch the vid's in the Chemical Awareness playlist that I have so far and make a list and you and your partner make a list on paper as you go...
Here's my review of these duster wands which are THE BEST I've ever, so please let me know what you think of them in the comments! (this video has been edited for time and conformity)
I'm so glad I found your site. I've been experiencing allergic reactions to Formaldehyde also. I went to my PCP a few weeks ago and I believe he now thinks I'm crazy. I told him that my throat starts burning when I'm around anything with a scent and that I feel like I'm in Fight or Flight any time I'm around musty smells and Formaldehyde. I can't be around any scents and can't find a Laundry Detergent, hand soaps, etc that doesn't make my throat burn.
Thank you for the kind words! I know how difficult it is to live in a world of nonbelievers... and I had the same response from my Dr. many years ago. Now though, there are many medical and even government medical reports that are showing this issue with chemical finishing and preservatives are causing issues, everything from dermatitis to cancer -- plus what are they doing to our environment once they go into our waterways and soil? Can I suggest that you watch my complete playlist on chemicals? They are step by step, as I get to understand and make a plan I share but there's also links in the descriptions of articles and information you can print out to take to your doctor so they believe you? I'm working on a video on how to make a playbook plan of your own step by step in google sheets to help you track your information, it should be done within the next couple of weeks but in the meantime just watch the vid's I have so far -- plus other people too, there's lots more info out there -- and take a look at the ingredients of what you're using...
All denim stinks now. I've had to return a denim jacket because the smell was so strong. I went looking for jeans at Nordstrom Rack and Marshalls and every pair I smelled, had an awful chemical smell. I was joking that it was formaldehyde....and I guess I wasn't wrong. I miss the old denim that wasn't stretchy and didn't stink!!! Bring back real, stiff, thick denim somebody!
Thank you for your comment! I think part of the issue is these chemicals aren't being disclosed on the labels so we as consumers don't know if there's formaldehyde or if it's some other chemical... or if it's just the die... Here's a link to prove that: ua-cam.com/video/Rq5Jeb3LkDQ/v-deo.html I will say most of the time if I wash it enough the smell does go away, but it takes quite a bit of washing, especially at first...
I can't even go inside my local Marshalls or Walmart because the reaction happens as soon as I walk in and continues for the rest of the day. There are other Marshalls stores that I can shop at where I'm just fine. I have about 10 or more pairs of jeans that I bought from Marshalls that I have washed several times but the smell won't go away. I thought I was going crazy until I found this site tonight
Thank you for your post. It takes a while to get out the chemical finishing, especially in jeans... I always handle new clothing separately, I spritz them with glass cleaner and then soak in very hot water, rinse and repeat using things like ammonia and borax (in separate soaks). So I hope you watch the entire chemical playlist. For me I can tell but the only way you can tell is through smell right? Of course you don't have to do what I do but in this video I share just what I have to do now to studio.ua-cam.com/users/videok9nzxO-gWfc/edit
2:07 Maybe use a funnel underneath to prevent splashing. Also, maybe it can be held by the hose pressing on the rim of the funnel to the top of the tank, so you don't have to hold it by hand.
Thank you for your comment - great idea!
I bought one once. The software wasn't compatible with my phone (I have that ZTE phone you returned to Qlink). So, I ended up sending the watch back. I did manage to sync up the watch with the phone. But I couldnt use any of the features since the software didn't work. It could only take my blood pressure. I couldnt even set the time. I have an electronic blood pressure cuff. So the blood pressure feature wasnt necessary.
Thank you for your comment. That's too bad. They do have a platform on Windows 10 -- but it doesn't have the gallery app options to "undim" the screen so you just have to know where that option is on the Charge 3...
👏👏👏
:) Thanks...
Nice looking guitar. Great demonstration. Sadly, the 1st one is too small for my hands. My nephew's son has one similar. I have a Fender dreadnought (full adult sized) acoustic. I've been playing since 1978. The only way I would be able to play that would be to open tune it and barre the strings with my index finger😆 You're a great performer!👏👏👏
Thank you for your comment!
Beautiful voice.
Thank you for your comment. :)
thank you...
It's going on 2 years since I bought mine. Once I figured out how to disable the Qlixar apps, it ran better. Those would load a bunch of trash into memory, slowing it down. It's integrated in the OS, so you really can't uninstall it. Just disable it, which is good enough. I had to find the info to do it by googling it. Been almost 2 years since I did it, so I forgot how. My biggest problem with the phone is it gets hot when you use it for an extended length of time. I don't use it much. Just use it for uber rides 3 days a week, random texts to family and the GPS to track where my uber driver is. Battery life of the phone isnt that great. So, if you're a heavy user, I don't think it's the phone for you. You could probably upgrade the battery. But I'd sooner just upgrade the whole phone. I had to pay the $19.95 because the alcatel phone I used before no longer worked with the network.
You were going good until Windex, Windex is made by SC Johnson which ALL their products are infected with harsh chemicals and so you are getting rid of one toxic and adding another I would recommend getting rid of Windex or finding an alternative by an organic company
Yes, I know, Windex is chemicals -- plus it's not Windex, any ammonia glass cleaner seems to work... What I do is spray on the clothing but of course I rinse it out thoroughly and then also wash thoroughly. I have tried other alternatives and they do not seem to dissolve the resins... So unfortunately at least for me, glass cleaner with ammonia is the only way I've found to dissolve the formaldehyde out of the cloth...
Its a portable dishwasher but more importantly its a countertop dishwasher. Should change that in the title. Youd get more views.
Hi -- Thank you for the comment! Yes, I will change the title....
Too much work for a beta thank, water shouldnt be that dirty unless youre over feeding it.
Hi... Thanks for your comment, that's probably true about the feeding... but I don't mind cleaning the tank, I think it's about the same for someone who picks up after a dog or has to clean out a cat box :)
Happy to have met you in Goodwill Lisa. 😊
You too Jennifer... Thanks for subscribing to my channel! I hope we meet up again - you can always get ahold of me at lisaschatroom@gmail.com :)
if the motor stops working with this newer model how do we fix it if there isn’t a window to manually rotate the motor ?
Hi, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately I don't know of a way to get this new model motor's to turn without tearing it apart, which I would not recommend... So sorry but you could try a couple of other things, just know you do so at your own risk (sorry, but have to put that in): First try removing the battery cartridge and use batteries you know work, also taking the batteries out and putting back to make sure they're getting a good contact. Next, I found a YT video that says it could be the connection in the battery compartment - so while the compartment is facing you on the side where you see + and - signs which have prongs above them. You can try to take take a pen and gently push the prongs (JUST A BIT) downwards (BUT NOT IN) towards the + and - sign as this might help with the contact connection of the batteries to the motor. Here's the link to that video as they deserve the credit for that fix: ua-cam.com/video/xkXnteEEac0/v-deo.html Please let us know if that works. Thank you!
Hi -- I've made a video on this subject and linked where I saw this fix as it's from someone else... Hope it works for you. ua-cam.com/video/sjLQ32Fy_So/v-deo.html
I wish they would stop putting chemicals on our new clothes. Or I wish they would make it so it'll wash out easily. Whenever I buy clothes at Ross, I don't really notice the smell, but when I come home, I notice the chemical smell & it is intense. Usually I just have to return the items that I haven't yet washed, because I've never been able to get the formaldehyde smell out. Though I've never tried ammonia. Will that strip color fabrics?
Thank you for your comment. As far as I know ammonia doesn't seem to strip the color, at least I've never had a problem with it, but I of course can't guarantee this. A thing to try is wash an item with ammonia that's not your favorite -- just be careful as it's a strong chemical... but soaking and washing in hot water does fade my clothing somewhat -- and even then it takes me washing items over and over and then vacuuming the items to get the chemicals out... I also avoid chemically created items... polyesters and non iron fabrics usually have a lot of chemicals... but I do eventually get it out... But some of these chemicals are also in different types of laundry soaps, fabric softeners and now even in things like scented products and printing paper with brighteners so best to check your products ingredients... and share this information with family and friends...
Who has time for all that. I threw mine out. Will never buy again, using a steam mop.
Thanks for the comment. I've used steam mops too, but this is nice as because of my allergies I opened up that container and can put in whatever I like, lately it's a mix of 1 part distilled vinegar with 4 parts water...
I love mine, but today, I don't know what happened, but the lights are just cycling through and I can't use it. Can turn it on, has power, but just blinks through the different cycles.
Oh... sorry to hear. Did you try to unplug and then plug back in? Also, maybe check to see if something has obstructed the spray arm, that's happened to me before. Here's a link to the manual: www.manualslib.com/manual/1073344/Rca-Rdw3208.html?page=12#manual
@@Lisas_Chatroom YES! My bf figured it out! I was pushing buttons.. >.> and had set the hour timer thing? He said give it til morning, see if it works then. It's fixed now! rofl Thank you SO much for responding! I LOVE that dishwasher SO much. lol
You are welcome -- I'm so glad it works again - I really love mine too :)
thanks I watched all three videos, I thought you would find where comes the leak but I don't, did I missed something?
Hi... I'm not an expert and not entirely sure but my guess is the leaking is due to the product leaking from the container onto the motor, which is in the metal but it's exposed... so first off, make sure you don't leave the bottle in the mop, I know my mistake but also a design flaw as in the newer models the motor is well contained where nothing can get at it...
Get yourself a set of 10 inch, 12 inch and a 6 inch pair of Channel Lock pliers. That'll help with almost all the plumbing in your house. And yes don't bang on pipes.
Yes, well I'm definitely a novice -- I do have the right wrench though which I show in a future video but still, never ever bang on the pipes!
The rubber in the bonnet is not what makes the water leak. That stem after the bonnet screws out and there is another rubber at the end.
According to the videos I've watched including this one, what you need to replace depends on where the leak is... however, I think my whole bonnet and stem were so worn it wouldn't have worked even with new valve packing or gaskets... ua-cam.com/video/MM56kl5f9YI/v-deo.html
