Thats a good one right there, but look up the traditional woodworking arts of the " Erzgebirge " in eastern Germany. It's actually a mountainous region and it's arts are influenced by it's mining history. These guys are christmas craftsmanship maniacs.

I love this, as an adhd person, i tend to need a specific place to put things, and i always lose my glasses... im going to have to take a swing at my own design of this.

Nicely done. Recently I ve started getting few tools for future woodworking projects. I have a question. You used 2 dovel pins for assembling the back portion. But I think this part will be under pressure when people resting to it. Is it sturdy enough?

Instead of all that sanding, just invest in a hand plane, man. Would take you about 1/60 the time and you'd get a better result.
