📝 Delicious and Simple Egg and Cheese Paratha Recipe! 🍳🧀
Hey foodies! Today, I’ve got a mouthwatering and easy-to-make recipe for you: Egg and Cheese Paratha! 🥚🧀 This delightful fusion of flavors will leave you craving for more. So let’s get started!
Ingredients:
• 2 cups of whole wheat flour
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup grated cheese (your favorite kind)
• Salt, to taste
• Ghee or butter, for cooking
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour with a pinch of salt. Gradually add water and knead the dough until it’s soft and smooth. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
2. Divide the dough into small equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a small disk using a rolling pin and dust with flour to prevent sticking.
3. Heat a flat pan or tawa over medium heat. Take one rolled dough disk and place it on the pan.
4. Crack an egg on the center of the dough and carefully spread it out evenly. Sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese on top of the egg.
5. Fold the edges of the dough over the egg and cheese to cover them entirely, forming a sealed pouch.
6. Gently roll out the stuffed dough pouch into a larger, thin paratha using a rolling pin.
7. Spread some ghee or butter on the pan and place the paratha on it. Cook on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
8. Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls, eggs, and cheese.
9. Serve the hot and scrumptious Egg and Cheese Parathas with your favorite dip, chutney, or yogurt.
There you have it - a simple yet incredibly delicious Egg and Cheese Paratha! 😋👌 It’s a perfect breakfast or snack option for those busy mornings or lazy evenings. Your taste buds will thank you for this delightful treat! Enjoy your cooking and bon appétit! 🍽️🔥

This video was so peaceful to watch with the edits and close ups, plus the music. But what in the what lol 😂 just onions and ketchup? Try making a pilchards curry, add in ginger, garlic, spices (garam masala, turmeric, cumin, coriander powder or whatever you have), salt, chillies of preference (I prefer green but you can add chilli powder or chilli flakes), then add the ( I prefer deboned) pilchards and some peas with chopped coriander to garnish. Serve with rice 🤌🏼

Finger method it best. People keep saying use 1, 1.5 or 2 cups of water for each cup of rice. (Reason 1 for finger method!). Well, the thing is 1:1 is simply not enough. You'll get tough uncooked rice mixed in there (an old roommate of mine LIKED it that way). 2 cups is too much, not so much you would need to strain it but very wet... like you'll want to take a papertowel to it. 1:1.5 will get you close enough. Close enough isn't good enough for me because when you figure out the finger method, it's too easy to go back. The real key to good rice, though, isn't in the water quantity as long as you're close. It's in the lid and the timing. Once you put the lid on, do NOT remove it until it's done simmering AND the 5 min off the heat. It can be tempting to get in there and give it a quick stir, DON'T. It WILL have an effect on the rice and subsequent flavor.

Tried this and works well! My rice was too wet first time after simmer and leaving to rest so I fucked up but still very nice. Although I used brown rice and washed about 7 times but it still made the water beige :( Is my rice dirty or I need to keep washing?
