How Buildings are Constructed Series (Episode 2): Utilities, Earthwork and Piers
On our second trip to the Bethany Children's Outpatient Tower construction project, managed by Manhattan Construction, we saw the progress made and learned about several construction aspects. That included site safety training, utilities, earthwork, soils, and piers.

    Great video. We need to encourage our kids' curiosity to take things apart, though I did hear my dad telling me [50+ years ago] not to use a screwdriver as a lever! I have a Truper submersible pump similar in design. I suspect its float switch connection is bad so I am trying to disassemble it. Mine has Triwing screws where yours had torx. Triwing is like Philips head but with three points, where Philips has four. I had to find and buy some Triwing drivers, for the first time in my life!

    I love this. First video I found of the inside of a sump pump. The previous home owner must’ve pulled the power cord out of the sump pump.. so I had bare wires showing.. and my capacitor was blown..

      We aren't affiliated with the company at all - they were just kind enough to let us visit and see how hats are made as part of a school project. A few months later, we did return and buy him a hat though! Thanks for watching!

    I bought a small smoker 20 years ago and I love the smoke flavor it produces. I also bought a pellet smoker from Trager 6 years ago and I was never happy with the smoke flavor it produced in the food, I finally gave it away because I was so unhappy with it. I'll never buy another pellet smoker they just don't put enough smoke flavor in the meats. Cookshack makes a great product.

    Farmrail exist because class 1 railroads sold off marginal lines, or went bankrupt. They operate on former ATSF, BN and Rock Island lines. Always looking for them when I go out west.

      It’s a mobile training trailer that visits different short lines all over the country. I believe it’s home base is in Iowa.

      I believe it was every 21 days and the number of worms each cycle depends on the species…the nightcrawlers were only 1 per time. The red wrigglers are at least 3, but can be more. I think she said up to 7. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    That was the best video ever! I played pan in Trinidad from 1991 to 2007 only missing 3 years in that whole time, the first band I ever practiced with was Phase II in 1991 only to return home to San Diego before Carnival because of the Gulf war and flights were being canceled. I was there last year the same as you guys 2023 to listen to Phase II practice and your video brought me wonderful feelings to see and hear it all again! Thank you!

    Amy tips for cleaning all of the scale inside and out of the pump? Not sure if submersing it in a vinegar water sultion woukd be aafe

      If I remember correctly, the impeller is made out of rubber. Whatever you use, make sure it’s a safe for that and rubber seals and then rinse well.
