I visited Abbey Road studio this summer. I have been listening this medley since then. I recognize the talent of Paul again !
Polythene PAM!
Lloro al escuchar el final : the end" que en realidad fue el final de los beatles como grupo!😢
WTF. If you put adverts all over this it makes it shite.
The earth without the Beatles will be a darker place…
The only band I am aware of that broke up, then came back because they wanted to go out on a record they were proud of. The rest of us have been marveling ever since.
Es muy buena canción me regreso de niño El PlNk
you do know mike that dashing trader goes against the T.O.S of DD with fake accounts ..he has multiple videos on his channel explaing how that works..just a heads up Mike
Continuam sendo foooodas!
Its all here, musically light years from everyone...Still ❤
look at the lineup...
Oh that magic feeling!
Always play it on Dec 31 last hour...
Just thinking how the commercial took 15 minutes for 20 minutes of John Lennon music sad
Orden de guitarra Paul,George, John y se repite.
Cuttin into another artist music with a commercial ad is so un- Cool !
kinda makes you tear up...
The lump in throat begins with Golden Slumbers and by the last line of ..."and in the end...." tears start....never fails...never. Happy-Sad❤❤❤❤
the act youve known for all theses years.....
I love this song; it is McCartney-Lennon at its finest! But the masterpiece is With a Little Help From My Friends. I was 2 years old, and at least by age 3 I knew and *LOVED* this song.
I was almost 5 years old when The Beatles first appeared on Ed Sullivan. I was the youngest of 5 with ages ranging from myself, the youngest, up to my oldest brother at 15. My Mom made the most gigantic bowl of popcorn I think I'd ever seen. She put a big giant quilt on the floor and we five sat waiting for them to come our old black and white TV. I think that's the longest we all ever sat together without fighting...lol. Pretty soon, it was like fireworks going off on the 4th, the Fab Four came out on stage. I remember it like it was yesterday. My parents are gone and I lost my oldest brother and best friend in 2022. Every time I hear the Beatles I think of him. He introduced me to some of the best music ever recorded. Rest easy brother, until we meet again. ✌❤
Who on December 19, 2024? 🙋🏻
I believe... {My Abbey Road} "I imagine she's a pretty nice girl, but she doesn't have a lot to say".Paul M. Scripted in vinyl; Ronnie + Phil Spector he's LA Jail.
why advertisement in middle of song?!
What does it say when a record nearly 50 years ago is still played as if it was brand new, next level music?
To say that the Beatles didn't influence my life, would be a lie . In so many ways, saw them on Ed Sullivan show, watch my sister go nuts. , I have not looked back. Thank you , for the great music,☮️ Peace
I created a Beatles Abbey Road mashup as well. Is it okay to post on youtube given the proper credit and copyright disclamer? Seeing this gives me hope. Please advise if tou can? Thanks in advance.
Oh that magic feeling. Some of the best the Beatles ever did.
❤❤🎶🎶🕊🕊✌✌👩🎤👁❤❤
Wow! What a way to wrap it all up. I turned 13 a couple of months before they appeared on Ed Sullivan. The nation was in a funk, dispirited and sullen, still reeling from JFK’s murder. Then “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and “She Loves You” seemed to breathe life into the nation’s mood. Every week for the next six years our lives were enriched by the excitement and anticipation of what they brought to the world. They were never out of the news. After “The Long & Winding Road”, I was off to Vietnam. We were blessed with so much extraordinary music in those days from the Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds, Bacharach/ David - Dionne Warwick, Motown, all the British Invasion groups, Dusty, Petula, Tom Jones on & on. Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin were still recording Hirs. You had to live it. It can’t be explained. It will never come again.
As much as I enjoy the tracks that merge into one another, it ticks me off that clean editions of certain tracks were never released: 'Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' = a clean edition of this track has never been released without the crossfade from 'With a Little Help from My Friends'. 'With a Little Help from My Friends' = a clean edition of this track has never been released without the crossfade from 'Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'. 'Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' [Reprise] = a clean edition of this track has never been released without the crossfade from 'A Day in the Life'. 'Back in the U.S.S.R.' = a clean edition of this track has never been released without the crossfade from 'Dear Prudence'. The original edition of _1967-1970_ doesn't count because it features a sharp fade before the crossfade from 'Dear Prudence' starts. 'Dear Prudence' = a clean edition of this track has never been released without the crossfade from 'Back in the U.S.S.R.'. 'Golden Slumbers' = a clean edition of this track has never been released without segueing into 'Carry that Weight'. 'Carry that Weight' = a clean edition of this track has never been released without segueing from 'Golden Slumbers' and segueing into 'The End'. 'Mean Mr. Mustard' = a clean edition of this track has never been released without segueing into 'Polythene Pam'. 'Polythene Pam' = a clean edition of this track has never been released without segueing from 'Mean Mr. Mustard' and segueing into 'She Came in through the Bathroom Window'. 'She Came in through the Bathroom Window' = a clean edition of this track has never been released without segueing from 'Polythene Pam'. The first two tracks and the last five tracks I mentioned don't bother me that much. It's the crossfades from 'Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' [Reprise] and 'A Day in the Life' and 'Back in the U.S.S.R.' and 'Dear Prudence' that really irk me.
this medley is absolute genius. they did not know yet. but they invented progressive
Guitar of george❤
I was 11 on February 9 , 1964, Ed Sullivan show, It was a miracle, not anything else , Blew me away. My brother was 17, he watched too. 3 weeks later he passed from a lung infection, never knowing the future of the Beatles, I'm 71 now I think of him every day , wished he could have lived to see what they were going to turn out to be. Beatles For ever!
BIIIIIILYYY SHEEAAARRS!!!!!
Alright, picture it.... a big festival... a dirty hippie walks up and sings a most epic version of this song... ❤❤❤
Sixteen minutes of why Lennon and McCartney are the most influential composers since Mozart.
The Beatles transcended all barriers of age , nationality , race , colour and religion !!
Still sounds fantastic.
Oh.what a special group of young men. It's hard to realise the difference that they created.
Sun king = shivers
I can't help it. 14:30 is my sweet spot
The Best Band Ever!
Disagree 100%. They had TONS of Competition. Brian and the Tremoloes beat them out on that Jan 1, 1961 Decca audition. Herman's Hermits, etc. TONS of competition. The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, the Animals, I could go on....
Timeless
From their humble beginnings as a skiffle act a mere 12 years earier the yemerged as legends ; each individual crossing thatthat road at once became legends!
When looking back at teh history of rock and roll , the Beatles had no competition ; even their weakist offerings were gems. So whe nthe yproduced this masterpiece , it set the bar high and became the golend standard FOREVER! And which has NEVER been surpassed!
