TMF/A-802W2 Kerberos BuCUE Hound
Kerberos BuCUE Hound is the latest variant of the BuCUE. It is created to extend the lifespan of the BuCUE series and to complement the "New Millenium" series of MS. The main modification to the suit is the addition of an attachment to the turret part on the back, allowing it to use the Wizard System of the ZAFT Armed Keeper of Unity. This also improves the suit's versatility, weapon choices and simplifies maintenance and supply of equipment. However, most of the Wizard System's armament packs are designed for humanoid mobile suit, making it difficult for a quadrupled, beast-like mobile suit to use them at their full potential. To solve this issue, the Kerberos Wizard was developed.
To complement the Kerberos Wizard, which is designed specifically for close combat, the BuCUE's head is redesigned and equipped with a Beam Fang System that emit short beam blades. This weapon system is also installed in the two "heads" of the Kerberos Wizard, which also contain a pair of beam cannons. As each of these "heads" are equipped with its own tracking and target acquisition system, they are capable of attacking different directions simultaneously. The Kerberos Wizard also featured additional thrusters to improve mobility, enabling the Kerberos BuCUE Hound to close in and attack enemy units more easily. The Kerberos Wizard can be equipped by a ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior, creating the ZGMF-1000 Kerberos ZAKU Warrior, but the unique structure and programming of the Kerberos Wizard meant it is most effective when used in the form of the Kerberos BuCUE Hound.
