3 Inspirational Tips for Postpartum Mamas
MY NAME IS JULIANA!!!!!!
I may be biased, but Juliana is such a lovely name, and Saint!!💕☦️
Love your Chanel! Just stumbled upon it while looking for anything related to orthodox motherhood. I find a lot of inspiration from many Christian UA-camrs/Influencers I keep up with, but have always struggled to find orthodox female/motherhood content that I resonate with or feels relatable. So it’s nice to find your channel!! I’ll be following along!
Happy to have you here! God bless!!☦️💕😊
Having said that - here is a suggestion in a separate comment so you can delete it without deleting the more pleasant part: When you talk about a saint or other spiritual matters, could you not advertise/show products at the same time? From my point of view that is both distracting and disrespectful. Just my opinion, though.❤
I don't think it's advertising, it's just daily life. And she can do what she likes on her channel :) Cheers!
Hi there! I do appreciate constructive criticism and I will keep that in mind moving forward.❤️ I do want to clarify though, as a mom of two really little children, it’s easier for me to record day to day life and then go back in and record myself talking about spiritual matters. I try my best to make what I’m doing at least somewhat related to what I talk about. I am still a pretty small channel so I don’t advertise/have sponsored anything. The things I use are just what we have. But I was thinking, maybe it would be less distraction to just listen to the content? I know that for myself I’ll often put on other UA-cam videos while I am doing tasks around the house and just listen and not necessarily watch. Just an idea🫶☺️ Anyway, again thank you and may God Bless you!💕
@@blessedpursuitofmotherhood For me, it would be nice if you were talking about e.g. food you're making :) In the addition to the spiritual topics. Cheers from an Orthodox from Poland :)
@@curtwild7392 I love that idea! I will start talking about what I am making/doing as well as the other topics!! Thank you and may God bless you!!😊
Hi, just wanted to say that I like your channel. I am a Lutheran or maybe ex-Lutheran, but like to listen to you.
I love veiling but got attacked and was perceive has Muslim, when I'm not ...i can only wear the veil when my husband is there for-security reason .and it still don't stop the insults, I live in Canada Quebec. showing my cross weirdly enough made them even more mad in a Christian country well it was Christian it mostly atheist and "culturally Christian" church are dead here pretty sure most of us practice at home only with online mass and do deed alone not in a church group. this is upsetting when men's think it appropriate to insult/menace been entitled to see more or attacked physically religious women's and think it ok and a big men thing to do. i wear a mix of western and Arab dresses that are plain enough to be normal dresses basically only long dresses and long sleeve my scarfs are very colorful and i have a big bling bling cross and do wear makeup /jewelry .i remark people freak out more when my hair is completely cover and it a specific groups .40+ old mens that are celibate and atheist which is weird the other mens was about 65+ and think im some sort of invader or brainwashed by the church ,how nice of them .The other group are women and it old Muslim women getting mad when i don't cover my hair and see that i wear a cross and look modest maybe from the distance they think I'm a rebellious Muslim or something. Please be careful and watch your surrounding when you are out and veiling! People assume alot and some HATE GOD and think doing evil and hurting people with words or physically today is see has 'OK' please :BE CAREFUL 🙏🏼🧕🏼
First, I like to say that I am so sorry that this is happening to you! ❤️🩹 That must be pretty frightening having people attack you just based on your veil and how you are dressed. I will certainly also take caution as well. I pray that God protects you!🙏 Thank you for sharing and may God bless you!!💕

Congratulations that’s wonderful. Glory to God
Thanks for all of the support! It means a lot! 💕 And yes Glory to God for all things!😊☦️
I had a 36 hour first Labour and a 6 hour second labor so I am definitely one of those mommas who’s second was much much faster.
Child birth isn’t for the faint of heart that’s for sure, but it’s such a miracle! Labor just goes to show how much God can help us overcome what we think at the time is impossible!!😅❤️🩹
I am excited to do this for our daughter’s rooms. Don’t have enough in the collection yet but soon. We let the kids go to bed with their icons if they are feeling sad or scared or lonely.
It was so fun! And I’m sure you’ll also have lots of fun too!❤️ It’s especially beautiful to see the transformation. The icon corner is now the brightest, most vibrant part of the room!😊
I love this video! I am planning to become a catechumen soon; I hadn't found any orthodox moms online and I'm so happy I found your channel!!
Thank you so much!💕 And that’s wonderful!!😊 God bless you!☦️

I’m Catholic and I’ve been raised to always wear a hat and gloves while out in public and a head covering in church at all times. I’m 53 and raised our daughters to do the same. I’ve begun veiling when running errands and while at home. I feel closer to God by covering my hair every day, I’m speaking with him all the time. Feels more appropriate in my opinion.
the Bible had said that you must veil when you pray and receive holy communion, it never said if you have to do it outside.
I’m a catechumen I cover in church and did before I was going to Orthodox Church because of 1 Corinthians 11
Wow amazing
It's an important thing and you're doing great. God bless.
Keep going ♥️ From Ethiopian Orthodox
Cookies look delicious
I’m so glad I found your channel. I just joined the Orthodox Church in June. I’m not a mother yet but hoping to be soon ❤️ I’m watching all your videos 😆
Congrats, glory to God on your baptism!☦️💕 Thank you for the support, may God bless you!!☺️
Great video !!! God bless you and your family !!!
I love this breakdown! I am a catechumen and trying to get a better idea of what a icon/prayer corner is and would love a deep dive video - also, is there a rug there because you are meant to stand when you do the prayers? How is the prayer rope used?
Also curious about how you use veils at home/church because it seems that most women don’t use them during liturgy at the church I attend - only a handful. What’s your take on veiling at home/church?
That’s wonderful, glory to God on your catechism! ☺️ As far as having a rug, it’s not really necessary. I mostly just put it in my icon corner to add some extra comfort while standing/ doing prostrations and to break up the room a little bit. And then with prayer ropes, typically you would start by holing one knot between your index finger and thumb and say, “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.” Then repeat the process.😊 I believe that there are other prayers you could say as well, but the Jesus prayer is the most common. As far as veiling goes, I do veil at church and at home. I grew up doing it at church so it’s what feels most comfortable to me. I recently started veiling at home because I figured our home should be a “little church,” and I must say that I do like veiling at home too. For me, veiling seems to make me have an easier time focusing on prayer and on Holy/spiritual things. Also, I like how when I veil, I look like the other women saints and the Theotokos. I know that veiling can be controversial and in fact, I use to really dislike veiling as a child. 😅 But as I got older, and I grew in my faith, I now feel convinced that veiling is the best for me. So I always veil while praying except for the prayer before and after meals. Sorry for the long winded responses! I hope this makes sense and maybe helps. May God bless you!!☦️😊
@@immaryjieunorthodox women always must have their veil in church according to st. Paul....and at home if they wish when they pray...
@@blessedpursuitofmotherhoodYou are absolutely right ... greetings from Greece...
Are you a Greek Orthodox ?
I was going to a Russian Orthodox Church, but the priest retired. So we now go to a monastery sometimes or other churches in the area.
I am cradle too and I am so glad to see more cradle representation. Every time I find a video it seems like its another over zealous convert. Pageau is a great resource on the other hand. Christ is in our midst! ☦️

hey there! I love meat, cheese, etc. just as the next person, but I’m part of the Eastern Orthodox Church and we are in our Great Lent where we fast from dairy and meat products in preparation for our Easter, or as we call it, Pascha.
