For my dollars, rhym and reason is a wildly tricky drum piece

All of your snare rim shot/clave strokes are the same volume. When Stewart is playing the 123 123 123 pattern on the snare, 1 is the loudest hit...2 is a little softer....and 3 is the softest hit. It gives it a pulse. This cover sounds too "robotic" imo. Listen to the original.

LOVE THIS! I'm not a musician but I love music and am always drawn into the beat. I love trying to follow the rhythm section when I listen, and often try to imagine what the drummer's doing. Watching you play along to a song from my all time fave rock band is a treat!

These videos are great for figuring out how to play these parts. I can listen to a song all day and still not know what the drummer's doing. It helps to actually SEE what's happening. Thanks for doing this. You killed it.
